綁架案逃犯潛逃18年終落網
發生於2001年2月28日的華年達大律師被綁架案，案發後本澳警方經過五日五夜嚴密偵查，終成功解救受槍傷的事主，並與內地警方聯手追查下，先後拘捕六名涉案人士，他們連同在逃兩名人士分別被法院判處半年至16年徒刑不等。
鑑於本案仍有兩名人士一直潛逃內地，本局與內地警方鍥而不捨全力追捕；直至2017年，一名本澳男子涉毒品案在內地被判刑三年，內地公安機關核實其與上述綁架案有關，遂於該涉案男子於2019年10月5日刑滿出獄時透過廣東省警方將其移交本局，本局隨即將之押送路環監獄，依據本澳法院在早年的判決服刑，刑期14年，並繼續與內地警方追緝另一在逃案犯下落。
Fugitive of kidnapping case finally captured after abscondence for 18 years
The kidnapping case of the barrister Jorge Neto Valente took place on 28th February 2001. Upon rigorous investigation of the Macao police that lasted over 5 days and nights after the case, the victim wounded by gunshot was finally rescued. Having pursued jointly with the mainland police, the Macao police successively apprehended 6 involved individuals, who, together with 2 absconded individuals, were sentenced to imprisonment ranging from 6 months to 16 years by the court.
Due to the fact that there were still 2 individuals who had fled to the Mainland in this case, the Judiciary Police strained to pursue with perseverance with the mainland police. It was not until 2017 when a Macao man was sentenced to 3 years of imprisonment in a drug case in the Mainland did the mainland public security agency confirm that he was involved in the aforementioned kidnapping case. The involved man was thus transferred to the Judiciary Police via the police of Guangdong Province when he was released from jail on 5th October 2019. He was swiftly escorted to the Coloane Prison to serve a 14-year sentence based on the adjudication of the court in Macao in earlier years; and the Judiciary Police will continue to pursue the whereabouts of the other perpetrator at large with the mainland police.
Suspeito de um caso de sequestro foi detido depois de ter fugido há 18 anos
No dia 28 de Fevereiro de 2001, o advogado, Jorge Neto Valente, foi sequestrado e, numa investigação rigorosa que durou cinco dias e cinco noites, com uma ferida de bala acabou por ser resgatado. A PJ, em colaboração com a polícia da China continental, deteve seis pessoas, sucessivamente, os quais, juntamente com outros dois fugitivos foram condenados pelo tribunal a penas que variam entre seis meses e 16 anos de prisão.
Tendo em consideração que ainda houve dois indivíduos que tinham fugido para o continente, a PJ trabalhou em cooperação com as autoridades de segurança da China continental. Em 2017, um homem de Macau foi condenado a três anos de prisão no continente devido a um caso de estupefacientes, foi confirmado ainda que este estava envolvido no caso de sequestro. Por isso, no dia 05 de Outubro de 2019, este homem, ao ser libertado da prisão, foi transferido para a PJ, com a ajuda da polícia de Cantão, consequentemente, foi levado à prisão de Coloane para cumprir uma pena de prisão de 14 anos, de acordo com o anterior julgamento do tribunal de Macau. A PJ e a polícia do continente continuam à procura do outro suspeito.
