內地男涉盜竊被捕
2019年10月1日，本局接獲一名內地男子報稱與友人在路氹城區某娛樂場耍樂後回酒店房間休息，其後發現遭同行友人盜去總值30萬港元現金及籌碼。
本局調查後掌握涉案男子的身份，於10月3日在治安警察局協助下於關閘口岸將其截獲；涉案男子承認因嗜賭，趁事熟睡時分三次盜取其款項，作案所得已全數輸清。本局以加重盜竊罪將涉案男子移交檢察院偵辦。
Mainland Chinese man arrested for theft
A mainland Chinese man reported to the Judiciary Police on 1st October 2019 that HKD 300,000 of cash and chips had been stolen from him by a friend, with whom he had gambled at a Cotai casino before returning to his hotel room for a rest.
Upon investigation, the Judiciary Police identified the involved man and intercepted him, with assistance of the Public Security Police Force, at Portas do Cero on October 3rd. The involved man admitted having gambling addiction, leading him to steal the victim’s money on three counts while the latter was fast asleep. He then gambled away all criminal proceeds. The Judiciary Police transferred him to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of aggravated theft.
Detido um homem do continente por furto
No dia 1 de Outubro de 2019, a PJ recebeu uma queixa sobre um homem do continente, que depois de jogar num casino da Taipa, foi descansar com o seu amigo no quarto do hotel. Porém, verificou posteriormente, que o seu amigo lhe teria furtado o dinheiro e as fichas, no valor total de 300.000 HKD.
Na investigação, a PJ identificou o suspeito que acabou por ser interceptado, no dia 3 de Outubro, com a colaboração do CPSP, nas fronteiras das Portas do Cerco; O suspeito confessou que tinha praticado o crime devido ao vício no jogo e disse que tinha aproveitado os momentos em que a vítima estava a dormir para furtar, em três vezes, o montante em causa, que acabou por perder todo no jogo. O suspeito foi presente ao MP por furto qualificado.
