兩內地男子涉搶劫被捕
本局於2019年8月6日凌晨接獲治安警察局轉介一宗搶劫案，一名內地男子假冒“換錢黨”相約兩名內地事主到路氹城區某酒店房間進行交易，待兩人抵達房間後便聯同埋伏在洗手間內的三名同黨施襲，其中一名涉案男子更以玻璃杯指嚇事主，迫令其交出15萬港元現金；四人又威脅事主與之一同前往酒店大堂，隨後轉往娛樂場方向逃去。
本局調查後於同日下午在同區另一酒店截獲其中兩名涉案男子，以搶劫罪將兩人移送檢察院偵辦，並追緝在逃人士。
Two mainland men arrested for robbery
In the wee hours of 6th August 2019, the Judiciary Police received a case of robbery which was referred by the Public Security Police Force. A mainland man posing as the “money exchange gang” asked the two mainland victims to go to a hotel room in the Cotai district to carry out the transaction. Upon the arrival of the two victims at the room, he and another three accomplices who had hidden in the washroom attacked the victims. One of the involved men even threatened the victims with a glass and compelled them to hand over HKD 150,000 of cash. The four then forced the victims to proceed to the hotel lobby together with them, and subsequently fled in the direction of the casino.
After investigation, two of the involved men were intercepted at another hotel in the same district on the afternoon of the same day. The Judiciary Police transferred them to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of robbery while pursuing the absconded persons.

Na madrugada de 6 de Agosto de 2019, a PJ recebeu um caso de roubo transferido pelo CPSP, um homem da China continental que se fazia passar por um “burlão da troca de dinheiro”, combinou uma troca com duas pessoas, também da China continental, num quarto de um hotel do Cotai. Quando os dois entraram no quarto, foram agredidos pelo “burlão” e outros três cúmplices que estavam escondidos na casa de banho, um dos cúmplices ainda ameaçou as duas vítimas com um copo de vidro, obrigou-as a entregar 150.000 HKD em numerário. Os quatro suspeitos forçaram as vítimas a ir ao lobby do hotel com eles e acabaram por fugir em direcção ao casino.
Na sequência da investigação, a PJ conseguiu deter dois suspeitos em outro hotel da mesma zona na mesma tarde, que foram presentes ao MP por roubo, a PJ continua à procura dos outros cúmplices em fuga.
