酒店保安經理涉相當巨額詐騙被拘
2019年7月29日，本局接獲一名內地女子報稱被路氹城區某酒店高級保安經理詐騙20萬港元。
本局調查後得悉女事主男友早前因吸毒被本局人員拘捕並帶返上述酒店房間調查，涉案保安經理亦在場協助；事後，涉案保安經理要求女事主支付20萬港元，聲言用作賄賂警員及其他知情人士，女事主不虞有詐給付款項。涉案男子食髓知味，訛稱賄款不足，要求女事主再支付10萬港元，否則其男友將會被監禁，女事主最終發現受騙。
本局根據調查所得，於同日下午在涉案男子住所將其拘捕，以詐騙（相當巨額）罪將其移送檢察院偵辦，並追查贓款下落。
Hotel security manager nabbed for fraud of considerably huge amount
On 29th July 2019, the Judiciary Police received a complaint from a mainland woman who claimed to have been defrauded of HKD200,000 by a senior security manager of a hotel located at the Cotai district.
Investigation revealed that the boyfriend of the female victim had been previously arrested by the Judiciary Police personnel due to drug consumption, and was brought back to the guest room of the abovementioned hotel for investigation. The involved security manager was also at the scene to provide assistance. Afterwards, the involved security manager asked the female victim to pay HKD200,000, claiming that it would be used to bribe the police and other insiders. The unsuspecting female victim then made the payment. The insatiably greedy involved man falsely claimed to the female victim that the bribe was not enough and demanded another HKD100,000 or else her boyfriend would be sent to jail. The female victim eventually discovered that she was deceived.
Based on the investigation, the Judiciary Police arrested the involved man in his residence on the afternoon of the same day, and transferred him to the Public Prosecutions Office with the charge of fraud (considerably huge amount), while pursuing the whereabouts of the illicit proceed.
Detido um gerente da segurança de um hotel por burla
No dia 29 de Julho de 2019, a PJ recebeu a denúncia de uma mulher, dizendo que tinha sido burlada em 200.000 HKD por um gerente da segurança de um hotel do Cotai.
Apurou-se que o namorado da denunciante, que tinha sido detido pelos nossos agentes por consumo de droga, foi levado ao quarto de hotel em causa para a investigação, onde se encontrava aquele gerente da segurança que ajudou. Posteriormente, o gerente pediu à denunciante para pagar 200.000 HKD, dinheiro usado alegadamente para subornar agentes policiais e outros indivíduos que tinham conhecimento desse incidente. A mulher acreditou e pagou. Como praticou a burla com sucesso, o suspeito quis actuar mais uma vez, pedindo à vítima para pagar mais 100.000 HKD com o pretexto de que o dinheiro não foi suficiente, e disse-lhe que se não pagasse, o seu namorado seria condenado à prisão. A vítima acabou por perceber que se tratava de uma burla.
De acordo com as pistas obtidas, o suspeito foi detido no seu apartamento naquela tarde. Este foi presente ao MP por burla (valor consideravelmente elevado) e a PJ continua à procura do dinheiro burlado.
