珠寶店經理監守自盜被拘
2019年7月6日，新口岸區某酒店內一間珠寶店的男經理向本局報稱被一名女子盜竊165萬港元公款，經深入調查後，本局發現報案人於案發前曾多次接載上述涉案女子到酒店外圍視察，懷疑兩人串同作案，遂於7月15日向涉案經理查問，其承認由於急需用錢，於其獨自當值期間假裝離開店舖如廁，將店門虛掩，再發訊息通知涉案女子進入店內盜取款項及逃回內地。本局以加重盜竊罪將涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦，並繼續追查涉案女子及贓款之下落。
Jewellery shop manager arrested for embezzlement
On 6th July 2019, the male manager of a jewellery shop in a hotel in NAPE reported to the Judiciary Police that HKD 1.65 million was stolen from the shop by a woman. After an in-depth investigation, the complainant was found to have picked up the aforementioned involved woman to inspect the periphery of the hotel on several occasions before the case happened. The two were thus suspected to have conspired for the perpetration. On July 15th, the involved manager was questioned and admitted that due to an urgent need of money, he had left the door of the shop half open on the pretext of going to the washroom while on duty alone, and informed the involved woman by text messaging to steal money from the shop and to flee to the mainland. The Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of aggravated theft while continuing to investigate the whereabouts of the involved woman and the stolen money.
Detido o gerente de uma joalharia por furto
No dia 6 de Julho de 2019, a PJ recebeu a denúncia do gerente duma joalharia sito num hotel da ZAPE, alegando que uma mulher teria furtado 1,65 milhões de HKD$ da loja. Após averiguações, verificou-se que, antes do sucedido, o denunciante tinha levado várias vezes a suspeita a passear nos arredores de um hotel, levantando assim suspeitas de serem cúmplices no caso. No dia 15 de Julho, ao inquirir o gerente, o mesmo confessou que estava com dificuldades financeiras, por isso aproveitou-se da altura em que estava sozinho na loja para actuar. O gerente fingiu que ia à casa de banho e deixou a porta semi-aberta. Depois, através de SMS, chamou a suspeita para furtar o montante e fugir para a China continental. O detido foi presente ao MP por furto qualificado e a PJ vai continuar a procurar o paradeiro da suspeita e do montante furtado.
