內地男子涉搶劫被拘
本局於2019年7月初先後接獲兩宗街頭搶劫案，兩名女子均於凌晨時份在氹仔遭人從後搶去手袋，其後兩個手袋均被尋回，經點算其中一人損失1,800港元現金及2,000港元籌碼，另一人則無財物損失。
本局迅速展開調查，確定兩宗案件屬同一名男子所為，並查悉其正藏身於路環某屋苑單位，遂派員前往監視，並於7月3日晚上將其拘捕；據查，被捕內地男子因賭敗而犯案。本局以搶劫罪將其移交檢察院偵訊。
Mainland man arrested for robbery
The Judiciary Police received two consecutive reports of street robbery in early July 2019, in which both women were robbed of their handbags from behind in Taipa in the wee hours. Both handbags were found later. After checking, one of them suffered a loss of HKD 1,800 in cash and HKD 2,000 of casino chips while the other one did not suffer any property loss.
The Judiciary Police swiftly initiated investigation and confirmed that both cases had been committed by the same man, who was found hiding in a unit of a housing estate in Coloane. Personnel had been deployed to keep the man under surveillance and the man was arrested on the night of July 3rd. Investigation revealed that the mainland man had committed the crime due to his loss in gambling. He was transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of robbery.
Detido um residente do continente por roubo
Em princípios de Julho de 2019 a PJ recebeu dois casos de roubo, as vítimas dos quais são mulheres. Ambas disseram que foram alvo de um roubo ocorrido na Taipa, na madrugada, e que o assaltante tirou-lhes à força a mala por trás, as malas delas foram encontradas pouco depois. Uma das vítimas sofreu um prejuízo de 1.800 HKD em numerário e 2.000 HKD de fichas, enquanto que a outra não teve prejuízos.
Iniciámos logo a investigação, apurámos que os dois casos foram praticados pela mesma pessoa e descobrimos que esse indivíduo estava escondido num apartamento de um conjunto habitacional em Coloane. Assim o nosso pessoal iniciou a vigilância, que culminou com a detenção na noite de 3 de Julho. O detido admitiu o crime, disse tê-lo feito depois de ter perdido dinheiro nas mesas de jogo, foi então presente ao MP acusado de roubo.
