內地男涉盜竊案被捕
2019年5月25日，本局接獲治安警察局轉介一宗盜竊案，一名內地男子（本案事主）稱在新口岸區某賭場酒店客房被人盜竊財物，損失價值約13萬港元的財物。
據查，本案男事主於5月20來澳賭博，入住上述酒店客房，同日下午在賭場內遇上一名早前認識的男子（本案涉案人），並讓涉案人在其酒店房間休息；直到5月22日，兩人一同在客房休息，同日下午一時事主睡醒後，發現放在床頭櫃的項鏈不翼而飛，事主告知酒店保安要求協助尋找而未有報案。5月24日，事主賭博贏得金錢，與涉案人相約一同購物，又同返酒店客房，事主將六萬港元放在房內桌上，隨後兩人再次外出賭博。至同日晚上，事主獨自返回客房，發現桌上的六萬港元盡失。
本局人員經調查後掌握涉案人身份資料，並於5月25日涉案人在關閘口岸離境時將其截獲。涉案人承認先後兩次盜竊事主財物，盜竊所得的項鏈已典當，竊取的現金則已輸掉大部份。本局以加重盜竊罪將涉案男子移交檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man arrested for involvement in theft
On 25th May 2019, the Public Security Police Force referred a case of theft to the Judiciary Police, in which a mainland man (the victim of this case) stated that his belongings had been stolen in a guest room of a casino hotel in the NAPE district, incurring a loss worth around HKD 130,000.
Investigation revealed that the male victim came to Macao on May 20th for gambling and checked in to the aforementioned hotel room. He met the man with whom he got acquainted earlier (the involved man of this case) in a casino on the afternoon of the same day and allowed the involved man to rest in his room. On May 22nd, both of them rested together in the room but at 1 pm, the victim realised that the necklace he placed on the bedside cabinet had gone missing when he woke up from sleeping. The victim requested the security guard of the hotel to assist in searching and therefore did not report the case to the police. On May 24th, the victim won money in gambling and went shopping with the involved man, then the two returned to the hotel room together. The victim placed HKD 60,000 of cash on the table of the room then the duo went out to gamble again. On the night of the same day, the victim returned to the room alone and found that the HKD 60,000 on the table was all gone.
The Judiciary Police identified the involved man after investigation, and intercepted him at the Border Gate checkpoint on May 25th while he was departing from Macao. The involved man admitted to have stolen the victim’s belongings twice successively, while the stolen necklace had been pawned and most of the stolen cash had been gambled away. The Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of aggravated theft.
Detido um homem do continente por furto
Recebemos do CPSP um caso de furto, a qual envolve um homem do continente (a vítima desse caso). Disse-nos que os seus pertences foram furtados num quarto dum casino hotel do Porto do Exterior, causando-lhe um prejuízo de cerca de 130.000 HKD.
Durante a investigação, verificámos que a vítima veio a Macau no dia 20 de Maio para jogar e alugou um quarto no hotel referido. Na mesma tarde, encontrou no casino um conhecido (o envolvido desse caso) e permitiu que esse homem descansasse no seu quarto. No dia 22 de Maio os dois ficaram no quarto para descansar, a vítima acordou pelas 13:00 da tarde, como não conseguiu encontrar o colar que tinha posto na cabeceira foi chamar a segurança do hotel, e não fez queixa à polícia. No dia 24 de Maio, a vítima ganhou dinheiro na mesa de jogo e saiu com o envolvido para fazer compras juntos. Ao voltarem para o quarto, a vítima pôs 60.000 HKD em cima duma mesa, no valor de, em seguida os dois foram jogar outra vez. Nessa noite, a vítima voltou sozinha para o quarto e deu-se conta que os 60.000 HKD tinham desaparecido.
Na investigação, conseguimos identificar o suspeito que no dia 25 de Maio foi detido ao passar pelo posto das Portas do Cerco. O homem admitiu ter-se apropriado dos pertences da vítima, confessando que vendeu o colar a uma casa de penhores e a maioria do dinheiro furtado foi perdido no jogo. O detido foi presente ao MP acusado de furto qualificado.
