破假籌碼案 三港男落網
2019年4月4日，本局接報有人在新口岸某娛樂場貴賓會行使假籌碼，隨即派員到場調查，得悉涉案香港男子攜同170個面值10萬港元的假籌碼，要求帳房職員將之兌換17個100萬港元籌碼，同時發現兩名同黨在外把風，故將三人一併截獲。
涉案男子承認受他人指使帶同上述籌碼來澳兌換，對籌碼真偽毫不知情，又稱事成後可獲8,000港元報酬；另外兩人則否認犯案。本局根據相關證據，以詐騙罪將三名涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦，並繼續追緝其餘涉案人士。
Case of counterfeit chips busted, arresting three Hong Kong men
The Judiciary Police was informed on 4th April 2019 that someone had been using counterfeit chips in the junket of a casino in NAPE. Promptly investigating at the scene, Judiciary Police officers realized that the involved Hong Kong man had brought 170 counterfeit chips each of face value of HKD 100,000 and requested the staff of the cage to exchange them for 17 chips worth of HKD 1 million each. Two accomplices, found to have been on the lookout, were intercepted alongside the involved Hong Kong man.
Unsuspecting of the authenticity of the chips, the involved man admitted to have been instigated to bring the said chips to Macao for exchange allegedly for a reward of HKD 8,000.The other two men denied their involvement in the crime. In light of relevant evidence, the Judiciary Police transferred the three involved men to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of fraud, while continuing to pursue other involved individuals.

No dia 4 de Abril de 2019, a PJ recebeu uma queixa, na qual se dizia que alguém usava fichas de jogo falsas numa sala VIP sita num casino do NAPE. Foram logo enviados agentes para o local da ocorrência e soube-se que um homem de Hong Kong tinha trazido com ele 170 fichas de jogo falsas de 100 mil HKD cada, pedindo aos funcionários da tesouraria para trocar para 17 fichas de jogo um milhão de HKD cada. Apurou-se ainda que havia outros dois cúmplices que ficaram no extrior para vigiar, os três foram detidos.
O suspeito confessou ter sido mandado por alguém a Macau para trocar as fichas, disse não ter o mínimo conhecimento sobre a veracidade das mesmas e disse que iria receber 8,000 HKD como remuneração. Quanto aos outros dois, negaram ter praticado o crime. Os três homens foram presentes ao MP por burla conforme as provas recolhidas, a PJ vai continuar à procura de outros suspeitos.
