三內地男典當假金鏈就逮
2019年1月24日，本局接獲某押店報稱遭一名內地男子以鍍上金色的銀項鏈充當純金項鏈典當，損失4.4萬港元。
本局翻查相關典當記錄，再發現涉案男子曾於1月9日在另一間押店犯案，其先典當及贖回一條真金項鏈，再典當另一條相同款式的假金鏈，導致押店損失4萬港元，並根據線索查悉案件涉及一名內地主腦，其於最近半年內曾三次帶同不同下線成員來澳，以相同手法詐騙六間押店。
直至2019年3月26日，本局得悉上述主腦伙同兩名內地男子入境，遂加緊進行部署，並於3月27日清晨在蓮花口岸的士站將三人截獲。被捕主腦拒絕合作，兩名內地男子則承認按主腦指示帶同三條假金鏈及一條真金鏈來澳，以上述手法騙取氹仔某押店2.5萬港元後，再乘坐的士到蓮花口岸準備離澳；本局人員在兩名男子的手機內發現與犯罪有關的聊天記錄及圖片。
全案共涉及十條假金鏈和一條純金鏈，其中兩條假金鏈及一條金鏈是在三名涉案人身上搜獲，總涉案金額約34萬港元。本局以犯罪集團罪和詐騙（相當巨額）罪將三名男子移送檢察院處理。
Three mainland men arrested for pawning fake gold chains
On 24th January 2019, the Judiciary Police received a report from a pawn shop, alleging that a mainland man had pawned a silver necklace coated with gold colour disguised as a pure gold necklace. The loss incurred was HKD44,000.
After checking the relevant pawning records, the Judiciary Police found that the involved man had also committed the crime at another pawn shop on January 9th. The involved man first pawned and redeemed a real gold necklace. Later, he pawned another fake gold chain of the same design, incurring a loss of HKD40,000 to the pawn shop. Based on the leads, it was found that a mainland mastermind was involved in the case. Recently, the mainland mastermind had come to Macao with different subordinates of the syndicate thrice to defraud six pawn shops with the same modus operandi within the past half year.
On 26th March 2019, the Judiciary Police learnt that the aforesaid mastermind entered Macao with two mainland men. Deployment was stepped up therewith. In the wee hours of March 27th, the trio was intercepted at the taxi stand at the Lotus Border Checkpoint. The arrested mastermind refused to cooperate, whereas the two mainland men admitted that they were instructed by the mastermind to bring three fake gold chains and one real gold chain with them to Macao. After defrauding HKD25,000 from a pawnshop in Taipa using the abovementioned modus operandi, they then took a taxi to the Lotus Border Checkpoint and were about to leave Macao. Personnel of the Judiciary Police found chat histories and pictures related to the crimes in the mobile phones of the two men.
A total of ten fake gold chains and one pure gold chain were involved in the whole case. Among them, two fake gold chains and one gold chain were found on the three involved persons. The total involved amount was approximately HKD340,000. The Judiciary Police transferred the three men to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offences of criminal syndicate and fraud (considerably huge amount).
Detidos 3 homens da China continental por ter empenhado correntes de ouro falsas
Em 24 de Janeiro de 2019, a PJ recebeu uma denúncia de uma casa de penhores indicando que um homem da China continental tinha penhorado uma corrente de prata, revestida de ouro e fazendo-a passar por ser de ouro puro, a loja sofreu um prejuízo de 44 mil HKD.
Verificados os respectivos registos das transacções, apurou-se que o suspeito tinha praticado o crime numa outra casa de penhores em 9 de Janeiro, primeiro penhorou e recuperou uma corrente de ouro verdadeiro, depois empenhou uma outra corrente, do mesmo estilo, mas falsa, causando à loja um prejuízo de 40 mil HKD. De acordo com as pistas, verificou-se que o caso envolveu um cabecilha da China continental que, nos últimos seis meses, trouxe, em três vezes, vários subordinados para virem a Macau, enganando seis casas de penhores com igual modus operandi.
Em 26 de Março de 2019, tomámos conhecimentos de que o cabecilha entrou em Macau acompanhado de dois homens da China continental, intensificámos a vigilância, detendo na madrugada de 27 de Março, os três indivíduos na estação de táxis junto ao Posto Fronteiriço de Cotai. O cabecilha recusou-se a cooperar, enquanto que os dois homens da China continental confessaram ter sido mandados pelo cabecilha trazer para Macau três correntes de ouro falso e uma de ouro verdadeiro, enganaram uma casa de penhores na Taipa em 25 mil HKD com aquele modus operandi, depois chegaram ao Posto Fronteiriço de Cotai num táxi para sair de Macau. O nosso pessoal encontrou registos de conversas e imagens relativos ao crime no telemóvel dos dois homens.
O caso envolve um total de dez correntes de ouro falso e uma de ouro puro, destas, duas correntes de ouro falso e uma de ouro verdadeiro foram encontradas na posse dos três suspeitos, sendo que o montante envolvido ronda os 340 mil HKD. Os três indivíduos foram presentes ao Ministério Público acusados de associação criminosa e burla (valor consideravelmente elevado).
