兩內地男子涉加重盜竊被捕
2018年12月5日，本局接獲治安警察局轉交一宗盜竊案，內地男事主途經新口岸區某行人隧道扶手電梯時，一名涉案男子突然趨前阻擋事主及俯身拾物，另一涉案男子乘機碰撞事主及盜去事主錢包，涉案金額約12萬港元。
本局調查後迅速鎖定兩名涉案內地男子的身份，並於2018年12月18日在治安警察局協助下在關閘口岸將兩人截獲，以加重盜竊罪移送檢察院偵辦。
Two mainland men arrested for involvement in aggravated theft
On 5th December 2018, a case of theft was transferred to the Judiciary Police by the Public Security Police Force. When the mainland male victim walked past the escalator of a subway in the ZAPE district, one of the involved men suddenly approached the victim to block his way and then bent down to pick up something, while the other involved man took the opportunity to bump into the victim and steal his wallet. The amount involved in the case was around HKD 120,000.
The Judiciary Police swiftly identified the two involved mainland men after investigation, and intercepted them at the Border Gate checkpoint with the assistance of the Public Security Police Force on 18th December 2018. The duo was transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of aggravated theft.
Detidos dois homens da China continental por furto qualificado
No dia 5 de Dezembro de 2018, um caso de furto foi transferido para a PJ pelo CPSP. Quando a vítima, do sexo masculino, da China continental, passava pela escada rolante de um túnel pedonal do NAPE, um homem de repente se aproximou, bloqueou-lhe o caminho e abaixou-se para pegar nalguma coisa, enquanto o cúmplice aproveitou da oportunidade para roubar-lhe a carteira, num prejuízo de cerca de 120.000 HKD.
Na investigação, conseguiu-se identificar os dois homens e que foram detidos no dia 18 de Dezembro de 2018, com a ajuda do CPSP, nas Portas do Cerco. Os dois foram presentes ao MP por furto qualificado.
