- Detida uma mulher por burla de mais de 10 milhões de HKD
女子詐騙千萬元就逮
本局於2018年11月上旬接獲兩名事主報案，指一名本澳女子以投資及兌換外幣為名詐騙二人合共400萬港元；調查期間，本局再接獲六名本澳男女報稱被涉案女子詐騙合共731萬港元。
案情顯示，涉案女子訛稱認識在銀行工作的朋友，以低於市價7至10%的兌換率誘騙一眾事主交出現金來兌換外幣，又聲稱收集外幣需時約三個月，各人最初均能成功兌換；在取得事主的信任後，涉案女子又向各人推銷高息投資項目，聲稱只要存款五萬港元，兩年後可獲得三萬港元利息，其中三名事主合共投資了200萬港元。其後，各人無法收取兌換的外幣或存款利息，並被涉案女子託辭朋友出現問題而將事件拖延，方知受騙。
本局於2018年11月19日在外港碼頭截獲涉案女子，其承認犯案，供稱詐騙金額約1,800萬港元，部份贓款已用於旅遊及賭博。本局以詐騙（相當巨額）罪將涉案女子移送檢察院處理。
Woman apprehended for defrauding over ten million dollars
Two victims reported to the Judiciary Police in early November 2018, stating that they had been defrauded of a total of HKD4,000,000 by a Macao woman on the pretext of investment and currency exchange. During the investigation, six Macao men and women reported to the Judiciary Police that they had been defrauded of a total of HKD7,310,000 by the involved woman.
Case details revealed that the involved woman falsely claimed to have an acquaintance working in the bank and could offer an exchange rate 7 to 10% lower than the market price to lure the victims to hand over cash for currency exchange. She also claimed that it would take 3 months to gather the foreign currency. At first, everyone exchanged successfully. Having gained the trust of the victims, the involved woman promoted high interest investment projects to them, claiming that with a deposit of HKD50,000, an interest of HKD30,000 could be received after 2 years. Three of the victims invested a total of HKD2,000,000. Later, they could not receive the exchanged currency or the deposit interest. Having been procrastinated by the involved woman with the excuse that her friend had encountered some problems, they realized they had been defrauded.
The Judiciary Police intercepted the involved woman at the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal on 19th November 2018. She confessed to the crime, stating that the fraud amount was approximately HKD18,000,000 and some of which had been spent on travelling and gambling. The Judiciary Police transferred her to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of fraud (considerably huge amount).

Em princípios do mês de Novembro de 2018, recebemos duas denúncias, nas quais as vítimas diziam que tinham sido enganadas por uma mulher, residente local, que andava a dizer que tinha planos de investimento e que podia trocar moedas estrangeiras, o prejuízo total foi de 4 milhões de HKD. Durante a investigação, a PJ recebeu outras seis denúncias, as vítimas confirmaram que era a mesma pessoa que as enganou, foram lesadas em 7,31 milhões de HKD no total.
Segundo as informações obtidas na investigação, a referida mulher afirmou ter amigos que trabalham no banco e que poderiam ajudar as pessoas a comprarem moedas estrangeiras por um valor inferior ao do mercado, entre 7% a 10% a menos da taxa cambial, para convencer as vítimas a entregarem-lhe dinheiro. Disse ainda às vítimas que, para colectar o dinheiro, as moedas estrangeiras, poderia levar aproximadamente 3 meses, na primeira troca essas vítimas conseguiram o dinheiro pretendido, pouco depois, a referida mulher, obtida a confiança das vítimas, apresentou planos de investimento com promessas de juros atraentes, dizendo que apenas precisavam de depositar 50 mil HKD na conta indicada e dois anos depois poderia obter 30 mil HKD como juros. Entre as vítimas, três entregaram no total 2 milhões de HKD, mas não chegaram a receber o dinheiro no câmbio nem os juros prometidos, em resposta a envolvida disse que o atraso dos pagamentos deveu-se a alguns problemas do amigo encarregado, e assim as vítimas começaram a desconfiar dela.
No dia 19 de Novembro, a referida mulher foi interceptada no Terminal Marítimo do Porto Exterior. Ela admitiu ter cometido o crime, lesando as vítimas em cerca de 18 milhões de HKD, uma parte desse dinheiro foi gasta nas viagens que ela fez e perdida nas mesas de jogo. A detida foi presente no MP acusada de crime de burla (de elevado valor).
