女子涉加重盜竊被拘
2018年11月17日，本局接獲中區某押店負責人報稱被人盜去一枚約值31.5萬港元的名錶，經調查後發現一名女子於案發期間到押店典當物品，期間乘店員不察偷走典當檯上一枚名錶，並待完成物品典當後旋即離開店舖。
本局鎖定涉案女子身份，於翌日在該押店附近將其截獲，並在其住所起獲涉案手錶；其承認犯案，本局以加重盜竊罪將其移交檢察院偵辦。
Woman arrested for aggravated theft
A person-in-charge of a pawn shop in central district reported to the Judiciary Police on 17 November 2018 that a luxury watch worth around HKD 315,000 had been stolen. Investigation revealed that a woman, while pawning items at the shop during the incident, stole a luxury watch on the pawning counter when the salesperson was unaware. She left the shop right after pawning her items.
Having identified the woman, the Judiciary Police intercepted her in the neighbourhood of the pawn shop the following day, while seizing the involved watch at her residence. She confessed to the crime and was transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of aggravated theft.
Detida uma mulher por furto qualificado
Em 17 de Novembro de 2018, a Polícia Judiciária recebeu uma denúncia do responsável de uma casa de penhores da zona central, dizendo que houve o furto de um relógio de marca no valor de cerca de 315.000 HK$. Na investigação, descobriu-se que durante a ocorrência do caso uma cliente estava naquela casa de penhores, furtou, aproveitando-se da distracção do funcionário, um relógio de marca de cima da mesa, e fugiu logo a seguir.
Os nossos agentes conseguiram identificar a suspeita, e no dia seguinte detiveram-na nas proximidades da loja em questão, tendo sido apreendido o relógio furtado na sua residência. A detida admitiu o crime e foi presente ao Ministério Público por furto qualificado.
