偵破縱火案 拘泰籍女子
2018年10月12日凌晨，本局接到消防局通知，十六浦娛樂場附近一單位門外發生縱火案，造成單位大門及雜物被燬，五名菲律賓籍住戶感到不適並送院救治。
本局經翻閱附近店舖及“天眼”系統錄影片段，發現一名女子帶同兩瓶白酒及一個充氣式點火器到案發大廈稍作停留，未幾單位便起火。本局根據線索查悉涉案女子為單位女戶主的下屬，二人因工作問題而結怨，涉案女子為此縱火向女戶主報復。
2018年10月18日，本局人員在涉案泰籍女子的工作地點將其截獲，並在其住所搜獲一個充氣式點火器及作案時身穿的衣物。涉案女子承認與女戶主不和，案發前購買上述物品到案發單位門外飲酒，但否認向單位縱火。鑑於有強烈跡象顯示涉案女子作出犯罪，本局以造成火警、爆炸及其他特別危險行為罪將其送交檢察院處理。
Arson case busted, arresting a Thai woman
The Judiciary Police was informed by the Fire Services Bureau during the wee hours of 12 October 2018 that a case of arson took place outside an apartment near Ponte 16 casino, destroying the apartment door and some miscellaneous articles. Five Filipino residents felt unwell and were sent to the hospital for medical treatment.
Looking through the CCTV footages of nearby shops and the “Eyes in the Sky” system, the Judiciary Police discovered that a woman had brought two bottles of white wine and an inflatable igniter to the involved building where she briefly stayed. A fire broke out in the apartment before long. The Judiciary Police found from clues that the involved woman was the subordinate of the female owner of the apartment. The former had set fire in revenge for their enmity at work.
The Judiciary Police intercepted the Thai woman at her workplace on 18 October 2018, seizing an inflatable igniter and her clothes during perpetration at her residence. Although the involved woman confessed to the friction between her and the apartment’s female owner and having bought the aforesaid items and drunk wine outside the involved apartment before the incident, she denied to have set fire to the apartment. Due to compelling indications of the involved woman’s perpetration, the Judiciary Police transferred her to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of causing fire, explosion and other exceptionally dangerous behaviour.

Na madrugada de 12 de Outubro, fomos informados pelo Corpo de Bombeiros, indicando que teria ocorrido um caso de fogo posto à porta de um apartamento sito nas proximidades do Casino Ponte 16, do qual resultaram danos para o portão do apartamento e alguns objectos, cinco moradores de nacionalidade filipina foram transportados ao hospital para receber tratamento médico por se sentirem indispostos.
Na consulta das gravações de videovigilância de uma loja daquele espaço, descobrimos uma mulher que transportava duas garrafas de vinho branco e um isqueiro e que permaneceu alguns segundos no edifício em causa, pouco depois começou o incêndio. Apurámos que aquela mulher era dependente da proprietária do apartamento, as duas tiveram uma altercação por questões de trabalho, isto fez com que a suspeita actuasse por retaliação.
Em 18 de Outubro de 2018, a mulher foi detida no seu local de trabalho, foram encontrados na sua residência um isqueiro e vestuário que teria usado na actuação. A detida confessou que não se dava bem com a empregadora, antes do incidente comprou os objectos atrás referidos e bebeu o vinho à porta do apartamento em causa, mas negou ter praticado o crime. Como há fortes indícios da sua prática, a mulher foi presente ao MP acusada de incêndio.
