本澳男子涉加重盜竊被捕
2018年8月初，一名本澳裝修工程公司東主前來本局報案，稱被人盜取兩張合共59萬澳門元的支票，其中一張30萬澳門元支票被兌現。
調查發現，事主於2018年7月底收到上述兩張支票並放在手提包內，在支票失竊後到銀行報失，得悉其公司一名男職員兌現了30萬澳門元的支票，並逃至內地。
直至9月18日，涉案男子經關閘口岸入境，本局在治安警察局協助下將其截獲；涉案男子拒絕交代涉案款項之去向。本局以加重盜竊罪將涉案男子送交檢察院偵辦。
Macao man arrested for involvement in aggravated theft
In early August 2018, the owner of a renovation engineering company in Macao came to the Judiciary Police to file a complaint, alleging that somebody had stolen two cheques with a total value of MOP590,000 from him. One of the cheques (MOP300,000 in value) was cashed.
Investigation revealed that, the victim received the two aforesaid cheques at the end of July 2018 and put them inside a handbag. He reported the loss to the bank after the cheques were stolen. It was learnt that a male employee of the victim’s company had cashed the MOP300,000 cheque and fled to the mainland.
On September 18th, the involved man entered Macao via the Border Gate Checkpoint. Aided by the Public Security Police Force, the Judiciary Police intercepted him. The involved man refused to reveal the whereabouts of the involved money. The Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of aggravated theft.
Detido um homem de Macau por furto qualificado
No início de Agosto de 2018, o dono de uma empresa de beneficiação de Macau fez queixa na Polícia Judiciária, indicando que teria sido alvo de um furto de dois cheques num valor total de 590 mil patacas, sendo que um deles teria sido sacado no montante de 300 mil patacas.
Na investigação, apurou-se que um funcionário daquela empresa tinha sacado o cheque de 300 mil patacas e fugido para a China continental, na sequência de a vítima ter reportado a perda dos dois cheques que tinha recebido no final de Julho de 2018 e que tinham sido colocados dentro da mala.
Em 18 de Setembro, quando o suspeito tentou entrar pela fronteira das Portas do Cerco, foi detido com a colaboração da PSP, mas recusou-se a revelar o paradeiro da quantia em causa. O detido foi presente ao Ministério Público por furto qualificado.
