三名哥倫比亞籍男女涉車內盜竊被捕
2018年8月16日，一名本澳男子於中區某銀行提取100萬港元現金並將款項放在座駕的前排客座，然後驅車前往皇朝區某商業大廈，車輛停下後，一名外籍男子敲打車窗示意車胎洩氣，事主下車查看及進行維修，返回車廂後發現款項不翼而飛，遂報警求助。
本局接報後展開調查，發現案發當日事主到銀行提取款項時，已有一輛私家車尾隨其後；當車輛到達案發地點時，一名男子下車靠近事主車輛位置並有所動作，伺機引開事主的注意，再由同黨下手。據查，作案車輛屬於某租車公司，曾被一名哥倫比亞籍女子租用，最終本局人員鎖定三名涉案哥倫比亞籍男女的身份，於2018年8月17日將三人拘捕，並起回全部款項，以加重盜竊罪移送檢察院偵辦。
Three Columbians arrested for stealing from car
After withdrawing HKD 1 million of cash from a bank in the central district, a local man put the money on the front passenger seat of his car before driving to a commercial building in NAPE on 16 August 2018. As he pulled over the car, a foreign man knocked on his window to tell him that he had a flat tyre. The victim got off his car to fix it, only to find his money missing when he returned. He thus reported to the police.
Investigation by the Judiciary Police revealed that while the victim was at the bank to withdraw cash on the day of the incident, a car had followed him all the way to the crime scene, where a man got off to approach the victim’s car and made a fuss to distract the victim before his accomplice perpetrated the crime. It was found that the car belonged to a rental company and had been rented by a Columbian woman. The Judiciary Police eventually identified and arrested the three Columbian men and woman while recovering all criminal proceeds on 17 August 2018. They were transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of aggravated theft.

Em 16 de Agosto de 2018, um homem de Macau levantou, num banco da zona central, um milhão de HKD em numerário, pôs as notas no banco da frente do seu carro e foi até um edifício comercial no NAPE, quando o carro parou, um homem estrangeiro bateu a janela e disse que um dos pneus estava a esvaziar, assim, o homem saiu do carro, verificou o pneu e reparou-o, ao entrar no carro, que o dinheiro tinha desaparecido, pediu por isso a intervenção da polícia.
Na investigação verificou-se que o homem estava a ser perseguido por outro carro durante a sua deslocação ao banco, quando chegou ao local da ocorrência, o suspeito aproximou-se do carro do lesado, agiu para distraí-lo e permitir que o cúmplice conseguisse furtar as notas. Apurou-se, ainda, que o veículo que os suspeitos usaram é de propriedade de uma empresa de aluguer de automóveis e foi alugado por uma mulher colombiana. A PJ acabou por identificar três colombianos, os quais foram detidos no dia 17 de Agosto com o dinheiro todo recuperado. Os três foram presentes ao MP por furto qualificado.
