與內地警方聯絡機制再顯成效 朝奉監守自盜珠海落網
2017年11月，本局接獲新口岸區某押店報稱遭一名男職員盜取80萬港元現金、首飾及名錶等財物，總值約90多萬港元，涉案男職員已失去聯絡。
本局迅速展開調查，發現涉案男子從2017年11月初開始，多次於工作期間盜取店內財物；其於11月中旬再次作案，將贓物典當後潛逃內地。本局進一步調查後知悉涉案男子曾在珠海出現，隨即透過與內地警方的警務聯絡機制，要求協助緝拿。
直至2018年6月7日，珠海警方成功抓獲涉案男子，旋於當日下午將涉案男子移交本局跟進調查。本局以信任之濫用罪及詐騙罪將涉案男子送交檢察院偵辦，並追查贓款去向。
Pawnbroker arrested for embezzlement, reasserting the effective Mainland China-Macao police communication mechanism
The Judiciary Police was informed by a pawnshop in NAPE district in November 2017 that a male staff had stolen HKD 800,000 of cash and over HKD 900,000 worth of property including jewellery, luxury watches, etc. before losing contact.
Promptly launching investigation, the Judiciary Police discovered that the involved man had been repeatedly stealing property from the shop while on duty since early November 2017. He had pawned the stolen goods and fled to mainland China after perpetrating again in mid-November. Further investigation revealed that the involved man had been in Zhuhai. The Judiciary Police instantly activated the Mainland China-Macao police communication mechanism, requesting the mainland Chinese police to assist in capturing the unruly element.
Having managed to capture the involved man on 7 June 2018, the Zhuhai police transferred him to the Judiciary Police for follow-up investigation forthwith in the afternoon of the same day. The Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charges of abuse of trust and fraud, while pursuing the whereabouts of the criminal proceeds.

Em Novembro de 2017, a Polícia Judiciária recebeu uma queixa de uma casa de penhores no ZAPE, dizendo que um funcionário teria furtado 800 mil dólares de Hong Kong, jóias e relógios de marcas, avaliados em mais de 900 mil dólares de Hong Kong, e que aquele funcionário teria desaparecido.
Na investigação, apurou-se que, desde o início de Novembro do ano passado, o suspeito furtou repetidamente, durante as horas de serviço, pertences da loja em causa, e que voltou a actuar, em meados de Novembro, e fugiu para a China continental depois de ter empenhado os objectos furtados. Na investigação mais pormenorizada, descobriu-se que o suspeito estava em Zhuhai, assim pediu-se, através do mecanismo de ligação policial, que a polícia da China continental efectuasse a detenção.
No dia 7 de Junho de 2018, a Polícia de Zhuhai conseguiu deter o suspeito, que foi encaminhado na mesma tarde para a PJ e foi presente ao Ministério Público por abuso de confiança e burla. A PJ continua à procura do paradeiro do dinheiro.
