的士司機涉禁錮及勒索就逮
2018年5月15日凌晨，本局接獲治安警察局通報，一名中國台灣女子於蓮花口岸邊檢站乘坐的士到路氹城區某大型酒店，當抵達時的士收費錶顯示為19澳門元，女事主支付20澳門元後，的士司機以在的士站等候多時為由索取100澳門元車資，被女事主拒絕後即將車門鎖上及駛離酒店進行勒索；女事主最終支付50澳門元車資後獲准下車離開。
女事主其後向治安警察局求助，治安警察局將涉案的士司機截獲並連同的士轉交本局跟進。涉案男子否認犯案，但承認因收不到滿意的車資而不讓女事主下車，亦知悉的士後方乘客車門事前經過改裝，乘客必須由司機以遙控開啟才能將車門打開。本局以剝奪他人行動自由罪及勒索罪將涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Taxi driver arrested for false imprisonment and extortion
In the wee hours of 15th May 2018, the Judiciary Police received a notification from the Public Security Police Force. A woman from Taiwan, China took a taxi from the Cotai immigration checkpoint to a sizable hotel in the Cotai district, and paid MOP 20 for the MOP 19 taxi fee displayed on the meter upon arrival. The taxi driver then demanded MOP 100 for having waited a long time at the taxi stand, but was refused by the female victim. He then locked up the doors of the taxi and drove away from the hotel to extort the female victim, who eventually got off the taxi after paying MOP 50.
The female victim sought assistance from the Public Security Police Force, who then intercepted the involved taxi driver together with his taxi and transferred the case to the Judiciary Police for follow-up. The involved man denied perpetration, but admitted that he did forbid the female victim from alighting from the taxi for not having received a satisfying taxi fare, and acknowledged that the rear doors of the taxi had been modified so that they could only be opened with a remote control, which was only accessible by the driver. The involved man was transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offences of deprivation of other's freedom of movement and extortion.

No dia 15 de Maio de 2018, a PJ recebeu uma comunicação do CPSP, na qual se dizia que uma mulher de Taiwan apanhou um táxi no posto fronteiriço Flor de Lotus para um grande hotel do Cotai, quando chegaram ao local, a tarifa era de 19 patacas, a mulher fez o pagamento com 20 patacas, o taxista pediu-lhe 100 patacas dizendo que ficou muito tempo à espera na praça de táxis, a mulher rejeitou, o taxista trancou as portas e conduziu o carro para longe do hotel obrigando a mulher a pagar 50 patacas em troca da sua liberdade.
Mais tarde, a vítima apresentou queixa ao CPSP, a polícia interceptou o taxista e levou-o à PJ juntamente com o táxi. O taxista negou, mas confessou que não deixou a mulher sair por não ter ficado satisfeito com o pagamento recebido e disse saber que a porta de trás foi modificada de modo a poder ser aberta só pelo próprio taxista. O detido foi presente ao MP por sequestro e extorsão.
