搗破高利貸犯罪窩點 拘八男女
本局於上月接獲情報指有不法份子利用氹仔區某大廈單位作為高利貸犯罪窩點，經調查及分析後鎖定涉案單位，並於2018年5月14日上午採取行動，在涉案單位截獲五男三女，當中一名女子為非法入境者、一男一女為非法再入境者，並在單位內搜獲多部手提電話、借據、籌碼及現金。
據查，八名涉案男女屬同一犯罪團伙，涉案單位由其中一名被捕男子租賃，並招攬其餘成員於路氹城區多間娛樂場從事高利貸犯罪；該犯案團伙於2017年開始運作，涉及高利貸金額約70萬港元。本局分別以犯罪集團、為賭博的高利貸、收留、非法再入境等四罪將八人移送檢察院處理，並追查有否其他涉案人士在逃。
Usury criminal den busted with 8 men and women apprehended
The Judiciary Police received intelligence last month, indicating that there were criminals using an apartment in Taipa as a usury criminal den. After investigation and analysis, the involved apartment was identified. Operation was launched in the morning of 14th May 2018, with 5 men and 3 women intercepted in the involved apartment. Among them, one woman was an illegal immigrant while one man and another woman re-entered Macao illegally. Multiple mobile phones, IOUs, casino chips and cash were seized inside the apartment.
Investigation revealed that the 8 involved individuals belonged to the same criminal syndicate. The involved apartment was rented by one of the men apprehended, who solicited the rest of the members to conduct usury crimes in various casinos in the Cotai district. The criminal syndicate began its operation in 2017, involving usury amount of approximately HKD700,000. The Judiciary Police transferred the 8 individuals to the Public Prosecutions Office for the four offences of criminal syndicate, practising usuries for gambling, providing shelter and illegal re-entry; and continue to investigate whether there are other involved individuals at large.
Descoberto um lugar para agiotagem e detidos oito indivíduos
A PJ recebeu informações, no mês passado, indicando que um apartamento na Taipa estava a ser utilizado por criminosos como base para actividade de agiotagem. Após investigações e análise, identificou-se o apartamento suspeito e entrámos em acção na manhã de 14 de Maio de 2018, foram detidos cinco homens e três mulheres. Uma mulher é imigrante ilegal, um homem e outra mulher são imigrantes que se encontram na situação de reentrada ilegal, apreendeudo-se ainda, no apartamento, vários telemóveis, recibos de dívida, fichas e numerário.
Segundo apurado, os oito indivíduos pertencem ao mesmo grupo criminoso, um dos detidos arrendou o apartamento e angariou os restantes elementos para a prática de agiotagem nos casinos do Cotai. Este grupo criminoso começou a funcionar em 2017, o montante envolvido na agiotagem ronda os 700 mil HKD. Os oito indivíduos foram presentes ao Ministério Público pelos crimes de associação criminosa, agiotagem para jogo, acolhimento e reentrada ilegal, estando a PJ à procura dos eventuais cúmplices em fuga.
