內地漢涉盜竊被捕
2018年5月3日，內地男事主向本局報稱來澳旅遊期間相約涉案內地男子一同入住某賭場酒店，其後因事須短暫離澳，出發前委託涉案男子協助更換酒店房間，以及將50萬港元現金轉到新房間的保險箱內；事主回澳後發現涉案男子盜去上述款項。本局將涉案男子帶返調查，其承認因賭敗而犯案，贓款已於賭博中全部輸清。本局以加重盜竊罪將涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man apprehended for theft
On 3rd May 2018, a mainland male victim reported to the Judiciary Police that he had agreed to stay in the same casino hotel with an involved man while he was travelling in Macao. Later, he had to leave Macao temporarily due to certain issue, entrusting the involved man to change his hotel room and transfer the cash of HKD500,000 into the safe of the new room before he left. After returning to Macao, the victim found that the involved man had stolen the abovementioned money. The Judiciary Police brought the man back for investigation, who admitted the perpetration for the reason of having lost in gambling and the illicit proceeds had been all lost in gambling. The Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of aggravated theft.
Detido um homem da China continental por furto
Em 3 de Maio de 2018, a PJ recebeu a denúncia de um homem da China continental, dizendo que durante uma visita a Macau pernoitou num hotel-casino com um outro homem do Continente, mais tarde, o denunciante precisou de sair de Macau temporariamente por razões particulares, antes de sair pediu ao outro para arranjar um novo quarto de hotel e levar os seus 500 mil HKD em dinheiro para o novo cofre. Depois de o denunciante voltar para Macau, descobriu que o indivíduo tinha furtado o dinheiro. O suspeito foi levado para as instalações da PJ para a investigação, na qual admitiu ter actuado por ter perdido ao jogo, dizendo ainda que o dinheiro furtado também foi perdido ao jogo. O detido foi presente ao MP por furto qualificado.
