兩男子涉搶劫被捕
2018年1月30日，治安警察局通報本局路氹城區某酒店房間發生一宗搶劫案。案中女事主應他人要求，攜同48萬港元現金到上述房間進行貨幣兌換，當其進入房間時，即被兩名涉案男子綑綁及以毛巾封住嘴巴，兩人搶去其全部現金及兩部手機後逃去。
本局對案件進行深入調查及分析，鎖定兩名涉案男子的身份，並查悉其作案後已逃離本澳。直至2018年4月14日，本局於二人再次入境時將之截獲。其中一人承認作案，供稱分得17萬港元；另一人則否認犯罪。根據調查所得，有足夠證據顯示二人實施犯罪，本局遂以加重搶劫罪將二人移送檢察院處理。
Two men arrested for robbery
On 30th January 2018, the Public Security Police Force notified the Judiciary Police of a robbery case happened in a room of a hotel in the Cotai district. The female victim in this case brought HKD 480,000 in cash to the aforementioned room for currency exchange as requested, but was tied up and gagged with a towel by the two involved men while she was entering the room. The two men fled the scene after robbing all her cash and two mobile phones.
The Judiciary Police carried out investigation and analysis in depth and identified the two involved men, who were found to have fled Macao after committing the crime. On 14th April 2018, the Judiciary Police intercepted the two men while they were re-entering Macao. One of them admitted to committing the crime and confessed that he had received HKD 170,000, while the other one denied perpetration. However, sufficient evidence was gathered in the investigation to indicate that the duo had committed the crime. They were thus transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of aggravated robbery.

No dia 30 de Janeiro de 2018, a Polícia Judiciária recebeu uma comunicação da Polícia de Segurança Pública indicando a ocorrência de um caso de roubo num quarto de um hotel do Cotai. Em causa, estava uma mulher que, a pedido de outros, chegou ao quarto trazendo consigo 480 mil dólares de Hong Kong em numerário para cambiar. Ao entrar no quarto, dois homens atacaram-na, taparam-lhe a boca com uma toalha, roubaram-lhe todo o dinheiro que trazia e dois telemóveis e fugiram.
A investigação e a análise aprofundadas permitiram identificar os dois suspeitos e apurar que já tinham saído do território após a actuação. Em 14 de Abril de 2018, os dois foram detidos pela PJ ao tentar entrar de novo. Um deles confessou o crime e disse ter ficado com 170 mil dólares de Hong Kong, enquanto que o outro negou. Das diligências de investigação efectuadas resultaram provas suficientes que apontam para os dois detidos como autores do crime. Assim, foram presentes ao Ministério Público por roubo qualificado.
