男子涉詐騙就逮
2018年3月27日，治安警察局將一名涉及一宗詐騙案的內地男子移交本局處理。據查，涉案男子向本案中的內地男事主訛稱以30萬港元兌換人民幣，相約到路氹城區某酒店進行交易，事主先將3,000元人民幣轉帳至涉案男子的帳戶，並要求查看涉案男子帶來的港元現金才會轉帳餘款，涉案男子打開隨身背包後迅即關上，事主要求再次展示，涉案男子便馬上逃跑，事主最終截住涉案男子及報警求助，其後治安警員在涉案男子的背包內搜獲300張一千港元偽鈔。涉案男子否認犯案，但本局根據調查所得，以詐騙罪將其移送檢察院處理。
Man arrested for fraud
The Public Security Police Force transferred a mainland Chinese man involved in fraud to the Judiciary Police on 27 March 2018. Investigation revealed that the involved man had arranged to meet and trade with the mainland Chinese victim at a hotel in Cotai on the pretext of exchanging renminbi with HKD 300,000. The victim first deposited RMB3,000 to the involved man’s account and demanded to examine the cash in Hong Kong Dollars that the involved man had brought before wiring the remaining amount. The involved man closed his backpack instantly after opening it, fleeing the scene at once when the victim demanded him to show the cash again. The victim eventually intercepted the involved man and reported to the police. The Public Security Police Force officers seized three hundred counterfeit HKD1,000 banknotes in the involved man’s backpack. Despite his denial of having committed a crime, the Judiciary Police transferred him to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of fraud based on the results of investigation.
Detido um homem por burla
No dia 27 de Março de 2018, um homem da China continental, envolvido num caso de burla, foi transferido pelo CPSP para as instalações da PJ. Segundo as investigações, o suspeito convenceu outro homem, também da China continental, a converter 300 mil HKD em RMB, os dois encontraram-se num quarto de hotel do Cotai para a troca. A vítima transferiu primeiro 3 mil RMB para a conta do homem, e pediu a verificação do dinheiro em HKD trazido por ele antes de transferir o restante. O homem abriu a mochila mas fechou-a imediatamente, a vítima exigiu que ele abrisse mais uma vez, mas este acabou por fugir. Por fim, a vítima conseguiu interceptá-lo e informar a polícia. O agente do CPSP encontrou na mochila do indivíduo, 300 notas falsas de mil HKD. O detido negou a prática do crime, mas foi presente ao MP por burla, conforme as provas recolhidas na sequência da investigação.
