港漢撿賭客籌碼被抓
一名內地男子於3月31日向本局報稱在某賭場耍樂期間遺失一個10萬港元籌碼。本局接案後翻查閉路電視片段，發現事主當時沒有留意籌碼掉在地上，旁邊一名香港男子即用腳踏著籌碼，在事主離開後將籌碼撿起並兌換成現金。本局經分析鎖定目標，於4月4日在涉案香港男子經關閘口岸入境時將其拘捕，以加重盜竊罪名將其移交檢察院處理。
Hong Kong man captured for picking up a gambler’s chip
A man from mainland China reported to the Judiciary Police on March 31st that he had lost a HKD100,000 chip while gambling in a casino. Upon receiving the complaint, the Judiciary Police checked the CCTV footage and found that the victim was unaware of his chip falling on the floor. A Hong Kong man beside him immediately stepped on the chip with his foot, picking it up and cashing it after the victim left. The Judiciary Police locked on the target after analysis and arrested the involved Hongkonger when he entered Macao via Portas do Cerco on April 4th. He was then transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of aggravated theft.
Detido homem de Hong Kong por ter-se apropriado de ficha de outro jogador
No dia 31 de Março a Pj recebeu uma queixa de um homem da China continental, dizendo que tinha perdido uma ficha de 100.000HK$ enquanto estava a jogar num casino. Recebida a queixa foram vistas as gravações das câmaras de vigilância e descobriu-se que denunciante tinha deixado cair a ficha no chão e o indivíduo que estava ao lado, um homem de Hong Kong, tapou-a com o pé, assim quando o denunciante foi-se embora apanhou-a para trocá-la imediatamente em dinheiro. Após investigação, a PJ identificou o suspeito que acabou por ser detido ao entrar em Macau pelas Portas do Cerco no dia 4 de Abril. O detido foi presente ao Ministério Público por furto qualificado.
