7月16日，新口岸某大廈住宅單位發生盜竊案，事主將一個裝有38萬港元現金和籌碼的斜背袋放在睡房靠近窗戶的床上，其後發現斜背袋不翼而飛，遂報案求助。本局接報後展開調查，經分析鎖定涉案人為一名內地男子，於9月1日，本局人員趁其經關閘再入境本澳時將之拘捕，其供稱於案發當天將一條塑膠電線喉管從案發單位睡房窗外伸入房內，將斜背袋鈎走。本局以加重盜竊罪名把嫌犯移交檢察院偵辦。
Mainlander Nabbed for Stealing $380,000
On July 16th, a burglary case took place in a flat in the NAPE district. The victim placed a messenger bag containing HKD 380,000 of cash and chips on the bed near the bedroom window. The messenger bag was found missing later, and the victim thus reported to the police. The Judiciary Police initiated investigation after receiving the report, and targeted a Mainland man as the involved person after analysis. On September 1st, the man was arrested when he was entering Macao again via the Border Gate. He admitted that on the day the case happened, he extended a plastic pipe for electrical wire into the bedroom via the window of the flat to fish the bag. The Judiciary Police handed the suspect to the Public Prosecutions Office for further investigation with the offence of aggravated theft.
Furto de 380 mil HKD cometido por um indivíduo do continente
No dia 16 de Julho ocorreu um caso de furto numa residência do NAPE, a vítima declarou que tinha desaparecido uma mochila com 380 mil HKD, em dinheiro e fichas, que a tinha deixado em cima da cama junto à janela do seu quarto, facto que o levou a pedir intervenção da Polícia Judiciária. Recebida a denúncia, os nossos agentes iniciaram a investigação e após análise localizaram um suspeito, da China continental, que foi detido, no dia 1 de Setembro, nas Portas do Cerco quando entrava novamente em Macau. O indivíduo confessou que no dia da ocorrência do crime estava posicionado do lado de fora do apartamento, junto da janela do quarto e de ter usado um tubo em plástico com um fio eléctrico para chegar até à mochila através da janela, conseguindo leva-la. O homem foi presente ao Ministério Público acusado de furto qualificado.
