TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ONLINE PAYMENTS FOR “CERTIFICATE OF CASE REPORTING RECORD”
AND “PATERNITY TESTING”

I. Scope of service:
  • The Judiciary Police provides Online Payment Service, including the payments for “Certificate of Case Reporting Record” and “paternity testing”
II. Terms of privacy:
  • The personal particulars inputted by the payer on this website shall be used in this system and printed on the electronic receipt;
  • The Judiciary Police shall handle the personal particulars acquired on this website in strict accordance with the regulations as stipulated in Law no. 8/2005 (the Personal Data Protection Act);
  • In order to ensure confidentiality of the information inputted by the payer on this website, this Service employs the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. All relevant information submitted through this website, including the user’s name, telephone number, email address and postal address, etc., are all converted into digits, by means of an encryption process, which are only decodable by the website server, whereby effectively preventing the illegal access to the client’s information in the process of internet transmission;
  • This website neither accesses nor records the payer’s credit card information, as the client shall input the relevant credit card information through the Payment Gateway of the financial institution.
III. Instructions of payment:
  • The Online Payment Service provided by the Judiciary Police is supported by the Macao Postal Savings ePayment Platform. Apart from VISA or MasterCard credit cards, the Platform also accepts UnionPay Online Payment or BOCNET Payment;
  • When using the Online Payment Service, the payment shall be settled in MOP.
IV. Refund and disclaimer:
  • Upon using the Online Payment Service, the Judiciary Police shall not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by the client due to the malfunction of the network communication supporting this online service;
  • The Judiciary Police shall not assume any responsibility for any damage or loss of the “Certificate of Case Reporting Record” incurred during postal delivery, and the applicant is not thereby entitled to a claim for refund or compensation from the Judiciary Police.
  • Once the online payment is completed, the payer cannot make a request for cancellation of the related transaction.
V. Applicable laws and jurisdiction:
  • The Online Payment Service is subject to applicable laws and regulations of the Macao Special Administrative Region.
  • All disputes arising from this Service shall be adjudicated by the court of Macao Special Administrative Region, while declaring the renunciation of the right to other jurisdictions.
VI. Remarks:
  • The Judiciary Police reserves the right to amend the related terms and conditions without prior notice, and the user shall not make any claim against the Judiciary Police for reasons of such amendment or revision.
