兩漢涉相當巨額詐騙就逮
2025年6月25日,司警局接獲路氹城區一娛樂場代表檢舉,稱一名已離職的男莊荷於任職期間串謀一名內地男子詐騙娛樂場。
本局博彩罪案調查處展開調查,發現涉案內地男子佯裝賭客,於涉案本澳男子上班時選定其當值的賭枱,在沒有他人在場且知悉開彩結果後才投注,而涉案本澳男子則在明知對方所為的情況下仍照常派彩,七次作案合共導致娛樂場損失176萬港元。
翌日傍晚,本局人員分別於北區及新口岸區一娛樂場內截獲兩人,並在兩人身上檢獲合共3部手機及1萬港元現金。經查,兩人聲稱已瓜分所得贓款並各自輸清。
本局根據調查所得,以詐騙(相當巨額)罪將兩名涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦,並繼續追查贓款去向。
Two men arrested for fraud of considerably huge amount
A casino representative reported to the Judiciary Police on 25th June 2025 that a resigned male dealer had conspired with a mainland Chinese man to defraud the casino during his employment.
Launching investigation, the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police found that the involved mainland Chinese man, posing as a gambler, had picked the gaming table where the involved local man was stationed and placed his bet when no one else was present and only after learning of the betting results. The involved local man, aware of the other man’s behavior, settled the prize as usual. Seven occasions of perpetration incurred a loss of HKD 1.76 million in total for the casino.
The next evening, the Judiciary Police officers intercepted the duo respectively at the northern district and NAPE, seizing collectively three mobile phones and HKD 10,000 in cash on them. During investigation, the duo claimed to have shared and respectively gambled away the illegal proceeds.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the two involved men to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of fraud (considerably huge amount), while continuing to pursue the whereabouts of the illegal proceeds.
