內地漢涉以假籌碼詐騙娛樂場被拘
2024年8月28日晚，本澳一娛樂場賭枱運作部主管發現一名男子曾於當日較早時候分別到場內數張賭枱，要求當值莊荷將10至20枚面值1,000港元的籌碼兌換成面值10,000港元的籌碼，然而該名男子並無在場內賭博，由於情況可疑，該名主管聯同場內保安員將該名男子截停，同時經檢驗後發現其要求莊荷兌換的20枚面值1,000港元的籌碼均為假籌碼，故立即報警求助。
本局博彩罪案調查處隨即展開調查，並在涉案內地男子身上搜獲懷疑犯罪所得的6枚面值10,000港元的真籌碼，以及70枚面值1,000港元的假籌碼。經查，本局人員發現涉案內地男子從內地攜帶假籌碼來澳，並在案發娛樂場成功將60枚面值1,000港元的假籌碼兌換成真籌碼；此外，尚有兩名涉案人於涉案內地男子作案期間以同樣手法進行詐騙，兩人於涉案內地男子被截獲後已逃離現場。
案發娛樂場經點算後檢獲412枚面值1,000港元的假籌碼，即合共損失412,000港元。
本局根據調查所得，以詐騙(相當巨額)罪及犯罪集團罪將涉案內地男子移送檢察院偵辦，並繼續追緝其餘在逃涉案人。
Mainland Chinese man arrested for defrauding casino with counterfeit chips
The table games supervisor of a local casino found on the evening of 28th August 2024 that a man, who was not gambling on the floor, had requested the dealers on duty at several gaming tables earlier that day to exchange 10 to 20 chips with a face value of HKD 1,000 into chips with a face value of HKD 10,000. In view of the suspicious circumstance, the supervisor, joined by casino security guards, intercepted the man, who was found to have used 20 counterfeit chips with a face value of HKD 1,000 to exchange with the dealers, hence the supervisor’s immediate report to the police.
Promptly launching investigation, the Gaming-related Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police seized on the involved mainland Chinese man suspected criminal proceeds that included six authentic chips with a face value of HKD 10,000, in addition to 70 counterfeit ones with a face value of HKD 1,000. The Judiciary Police officers found that the involved mainland Chinese man had brought counterfeit chips from mainland China to Macao, where he successfully exchanged 60 counterfeit chips with a face value of HKD 1,000 into authentic ones at the casino. In addition, two other involved persons, who had committed fraud in the same manner during his perpetration, had fled the scene upon the latter’s interception.
The casino concerned seized 412 counterfeit chips with a face value of HKD 1,000 that incurred a loss of HKD 412,000 in total.
Based on investigative findings, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved mainland Chinese man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charges of fraud (considerably huge amount) and criminal syndicate, while continuing to pursue the remaining involved persons at large.
Detido um homem da China continental por burlar casino com fichas falsas
Na noite de 28 de Agosto de 2024, um chefe do departamento de operações de mesa de um casino de Macau descobriu que um homem tinha ido a várias mesas do local mais cedo daquele dia e pedido ao croupier de serviço para lhe trocar 10 a 20 fichas com valor nominal de 1.000 HKD cada por fichas de 10.000 HKD mas, no entanto, o homem não jogava no casino. Uma vez que a situação era suspeita, o chefe, juntamente com o segurança do local, interceptou o homem. Ao mesmo tempo, após exame, verificou-se que as 20 fichas de valor nominal de 1.000 HKD que este pediu aos croupiers para trocar eram todas falsas, pelo que foi pedida de imediato ajuda à polícia.
A Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Relacionados com o Jogo da PJ iniciou imediatamente a investigação, encontrou na posse do envolvido do continente, 6 fichas verdadeiras de 10.000 HKD, supostamente obtidas ilicitamente, e 70 fichas falsas de valor nominal de 1.000 HKD. Na investigação, o nosso pessoal apurou que o envolvido do continente tinha trazido as fichas falsas do continente para Macau e conseguiu trocar 60 fichas falsas de 1.000 HKD por fichas verdadeiras no casino onde o crime aconteceu e que, além disso, existiam ainda dois indivíduos com envolvimento no crime, que burlavam com o mesmo modus operandi durante o período em que o envolvido do continente praticava o crime. Estes dois homens fugiram do local depois do homem envolvido do continente ter sido interceptado.
Após a contagem, o casino em causa encontrou 412 fichas falsas de valor nominal de 1.000 HKD, o que representa um prejuízo total de 412.000 HKD.
Conforme o que foi apurado na investigação, o envolvido do continente foi presente ao Ministério Público por burla (valor consideravelmente elevado) e associação criminosa. A PJ continua a investigar os restantes envolvidos em fuga.
