內地男子涉巨額詐騙被拘
2024年8月4日，本局接獲一押店報案。案情顯示，當日凌晨一名男子到店內典當一條金項鏈，雙方以5萬港元交易，其後該店職員進行覆檢時發現該項鏈為贗品，遂報案求助。
本局經濟罪案調查處展開調查，將上述項鏈交予專業人士鑑定後，證實只有表層為黃金，亦查悉該名男子在收款後迅速離境。8月9日凌晨，本局在治安警察局的協助下，於青茂口岸將涉案男子截獲。
本局根據調查所得，以詐騙（巨額）罪將涉案男子移交檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man arrested for fraud of massive amount
The Judiciary Police received a complaint from a pawn shop on 4th August 2024. Case details revealed that in the wee hours of that day, a man had proceeded to the shop to pawn a gold necklace and both parties agreed to conduct the transaction at HKD50,000. The pawn shop employee re-examine the necklace later and discovered that it was counterfeited, forthwith reported to the police for help.
The Economic Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police launched investigation and passed the aforementioned necklace to specialists for examination, which was confirmed that only the surface was gold. It was also discovered that the man had fled Macao right after receiving the money. In the wee hours of August 9th, the Judiciary Police intercepted the involved man at the Qingmao Checkpoint under the assistance of the Public Security Police Force.
Based on investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office with the charge of fraud (massive amount).
Detido um homem da China continental por burla de valor elevado
Em 4 de Agosto de 2024, recebemos a queixa de uma casa de penhores. Conforme o que foi apurado na investigação, naquela madrugada, um homem do continente, penhorou um colar de ouro, ele e a loja realizaram a troca por 50.000 dólares de Hong Kong. Depois, o funcionário da loja foi rever o colar, descobriu que era falso, e chamou a polícia.
A Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Económicos da PJ iniciou a investigação e enviou o colar aos profissionais para exame, estes confirmaram que apenas a superfície é de ouro. Verificou-se ainda que o suspeito, após ter recebido o dinheiro, saiu de Macau rapidamente. Na madrugada de 9 de Agosto, com a colaboração do CPSP, a PJ deteve o suspeito no Posto Fronteiriço Qingmao.
De acordo com as provas obtidas, o detido foi presente ao MP por burla de valor elevado.
