涉藉典當假錶詐騙三押店 一內地漢落網
本局於2021年7月21日接獲新口岸某押店職員報稱被一名內地男子以典當假錶詐騙。案情顯示,涉案內地男子於2021年7月17日到上述押店要求典當,將一枚腕錶交予朝奉,並攜同典當所得款項離開押店。隨後,朝奉覆檢腕錶時發現為贋品,損失45,000港元。
經本局經濟罪案調查處調查後,發現涉案男子於當日再前往另外兩間分別位於新口岸及氹仔區的押店,典當兩枚同款腕錶,並成功典當得50,000港元及45,000港元。經安排專家進行鑑定後,證實涉案三枚腕錶均為贋品,共造成三間押店合共140,000港元財產損失。
2024年3月30日,經本局調查鎖定後,涉案男子經關閘入境時被截獲,並根據調查所得,以詐騙(巨額)罪將其移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man arrested for defrauding three pawn shops by hocking fake watches
On 21st July 2021, the Judiciary Police received a complaint from an employee of a pawn shop in ZAPE, alleging that a mainland man had committed fraud by pawning a fake watch. Case details revealed that the involved mainland man had requested to pawn something at the aforementioned pawn shop on 17th July 2021. He handed a wrist watch to the pawnbroker and left the shop after he took the pawned money. Afterwards, when the pawnbroker re-examined the wrist watch, he discovered that it was counterfeit, leading to a loss of HKD45,000.
Investigation by the Economic Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police revealed that the involved man had further gone to two other pawn shops, respectively located in ZAPE and Taipa, to pawn two wrist watches of the same style, successfully obtaining HKD50,000 and HKD45,000 separately. Subsequent to arranging experts for appraisals, it was confirmed that the involved three wrist watches were counterfeit. A total of HKD140,000 worth of financial loss was incurred to the three pawn shops.
On 30th March 2024, the Economic Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police identified the involved man after investigation, and intercepted him when he entered Macao via the Portas do Cerco checkpoint. Based on investigative results, he was transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office with the charge of fraud (massive amount).
Detido um homem do continente por ter burlado 3 casas de penhores com relógios falsos
Em 21 de Julho de 2021, recebemos a denúncia de um funcionário duma casa de penhores, no NAPE, onde dizia que um homem do continente enganou-o com um relógio falso. De acordo com a investigação, esse homem do continente foi à loja em 17 de Julho de 2021 e disse que pretendia penhorar um relógio, entregou-o ao funcionário, obtido o dinheiro deixou a loja. Depois, o funcionário foi rever o relógio e percebeu que era falso, o que causou um prejuízo de 45.000 HKD.
Na investigação, a Divisão de Investigação de Crime Económico descobriu que no mesmo dia esse indivíduo tinha ido também a duas casas de penhores, uma do NAPE e outro da Taipa, para penhorar dois relógios do mesmo modelo e conseguiu 50.000 HKD e 45.000 HKD. Realizado um exame, os peritos confirmaram que os três relógios em causa são falsos, o que causou às três lojas 140.000 HKD de prejuízo, no total.
No dia 30 de Março de 2024, identificámos o homem, que foi interceptado ao entrar pelo posto fronteiriço das Portas do Cerco, e de acordo com os resultados da investigação, o detido foi presente ao Ministério Público acusado de burla (valor elevado).
