本澳男子涉相當巨額詐騙及清洗黑錢罪被拘
2023年10月19日,本局接獲內地男事主報案,稱與一名男子兌換貨幣後,獲悉自己用作收款的銀行帳戶遭凍結,損失約530,000港元。
本局經濟罪案調查處展開調查,得悉事主於2023年10月6日透過友人介紹,與上述男子在氹仔一酒店房間兌換貨幣;事主將530,000港元現金交予對方,並要求該名男子將500,000元人民幣轉帳至自己的內地銀行帳戶。直至10月9日,事主接獲內地公安部門通知,上述轉帳款項懷疑涉及不法來源,導致該帳戶被凍結。
本局人員查悉尚有一名涉案本澳男子在案發期間接載上述男子,於2024年3月19日將之尋獲並帶返本局調查。涉案本澳男子否認犯案,訛稱受他人指使接送作案。
由於有強烈跡象顯示涉案本澳男子實施犯罪,故本局以詐騙(相當巨額)罪及清洗黑錢罪將之移送檢察院偵辦,並追查其餘涉案人。
Macao man arrested for fraud of considerably huge amount and money laundering
On 19th October 2023, the Judiciary Police received a report from a mainland male victim. He claimed that after exchanging currencies with a man, he learnt that the bank account that he used to receive the money had been frozen, resulting in a loss of HKD530,000.
The Economic Crimes Division of the Judiciary Police launched an investigation, and found that on 6th October 2023, the victim exchanged currencies with the above-mentioned man in a hotel room in Taipa through a friend’s introduction. The victim handed over HKD530,000 in cash to the man, and asked him to transfer RMB500,000 to the victim’s mainland bank account. Until October 9th, the victim received a notification from the mainland public security department, alleging that the above money transfer was suspected to be from unlawful sources, causing the account being frozen.
The personnel of the Judiciary Police found out that there was another involved local man who picked up the above-mentioned man during the course of the incident. He was intercepted and brought back to the Judiciary Police for investigation on 19th March 2024. The involved local man denied committing the crime, falsely claimed that he was instructed to provide transportation.
As there were strong indications that the involved local man had committed crime, the Judiciary Police transferred him to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offences of fraud (considerably huge amount) and money laundering, while continuing to pursue the remaining involved persons.
Detido um homem de Macau por crime de burla e branqueamento de capitais
Em 19 de Outubro de 2023, a PJ recebeu a denúncia de um homem do continente, na qual dizia que após uma troca de dinheiro feita com um homem, foi informado de que foi congelada a sua conta que usou para receber o dinheiro, o que lhe causou um prejuízo de cerca de 530.000 HKD.
A Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Económicos iniciou a investigação, nela apurou que a vítima, em 6 de Outubro de 2023, por meio de um amigo, trocou dinheiro com o referido homem num quarto de hotel na Taipa. A vítima entregou-lhe 530.000 HKD em numerário e pediu-lhe para transferir 500 mil RMB para a sua conta bancária do continente. Em 9 de Outubro, a vítima recebeu uma notificação dos serviços da segurança pública do continente a dizer que suspeitavam que o dinheiro transferido pudesse vir duma fonte ilegal e tinham de congelar a sua conta.
O nosso pessoal verificou que nesse caso estava envolvido ainda um homem de Macau, que tinha ajudado o outro no transporte durante a actuação, foi encontrado e levado à polícia para investigação no dia 19 de Março de 2024. Este homem local negou a prática do crime, dizendo que alguém mandou-o levar o outro para praticar o crime.
Como há fortes indícios de que o detido praticou o crime, este foi presente ao MP acusado de crime de burla (de valor consideravelmente elevado) e de branqueamento de capitais. A PJ vai continuar à procura das restantes pessoas envolvidas.
