兩內地男女涉“練功券”兌換詐騙被拘
2023年12月7日晚,本局接獲治安警察局通知路氹城區一酒店發生兌換詐騙案。案中內地男事主相約涉案內地男子到酒店房間進行兌換,其後涉案內地男子帶同涉案內地女子到場接洽。涉案內地女子指示事主將168,300元人民幣轉帳至指定的銀行帳戶後交付兩疊式樣為一千港元的紙鈔,惟遭事主揭發全為俗稱“練功券”的假鈔,隨即當場把兩名涉案男女截住,並聯絡酒店保安人員協助代為報警。
經查,涉案內地男子以社交軟件聯絡“換錢黨”成員,其後涉案內地女子受人指使帶同上述紙鈔前來會合並一起到酒店房間與事主交易,兩人聲稱事成後分別可獲6,000元及600元人民幣報酬。
本局以詐騙罪(相當巨額)將涉案內地男女移送檢察院偵辦。
Mainland man and woman apprehended for “practice vouchers” exchange fraud
On the night of 7th December 2023, the Judiciary Police was notified by the Public Security Police Force that an exchange fraud case had taken place in a hotel in the Cotai District. The mainland male victim of the case had an appointment with the involved mainland man to exchange currency in a hotel room. Later, the involved man arrived at the site with the involved woman, who instructed the victim to transfer RMB168,300 to a designated bank account and handed him two stacks of HKD1,000 banknotes. However, the victim found that they were all counterfeit banknotes commonly known as “practice vouchers”. He immediately intercepted the involved duo on the spot and called the security staff of the hotel to assist in reporting the case to the police.
Investigation revealed that the involved mainland man contacted the members of the “money exchange gang” via social networking app, after which the involved mainland woman was instructed to bring the abovementioned banknotes and proceeded to the hotel room together with the involved man to conduct transaction with the victim. The duo claimed that remunerations of RMB6,000 and RMB600 could be received respectively afterwards.
The Judiciary Police transferred the involved duo to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of fraud (considerably huge amount).
Detidos dois indivíduos da China continental por burla através da troca de dinheiro com “notas de treino”
Na noite de 7 de Dezembro de 2023, fomos informados pelo CPSP da ocorrência de um caso de burla através da troca de dinheiro num hotel do Cotai. A vítima no caso, um homem da China continental, combinou com o homem, também do continente, para trocar dinheiro num quarto do hotel. Mais tarde, o suspeito, trouxe uma mulher, também da China continental, ao local para atender a vítima. Depois de dizer à vítima para transferir 168.300 renminbis para uma conta determinada, a mulher entregou-lhe dois maços de notas de 1.000 HK$, a vítima descobriu que eram todas notas falsas (“notas de treino”), bloqueou os dois indivíduos e pediu ao segurança do hotel para chamar a polícia.
Apurou-se que o homem da China continental contactou alguém de um grupo de “burlões da troca de dinheiro” através de uma rede social, mais tarde, a mulher em causa foi mandada por alguém para trazer as notas referidas e encontrou-se com o suspeito, foram juntos ao quarto de hotel para encontrar a vítima. Os dois alegaram que poderiam ganhar 6.000 e 600 renminbis, respectivamente, se concluísse a transacção.
Os dois detidos, da China continental, foram presentes ao Ministério Público por burla (valor consideravelmente elevado).
