四名內地男女分涉三宗相當巨額詐騙案被拘
第一宗案件
2023年11月13日,本局接獲治安警察局轉介一宗兌換詐騙案。案情顯示,內地女事主於當日下午相約“換錢黨”成員到路氹城區一娛樂場酒店客房進行兌換,其後兩名涉案內地女子到場,指示事主先後將合共130萬元人民幣轉帳至兩個不同的內地銀行帳戶後,只給事主兌換了90萬港元,並表示無法支付餘額,事主發現被騙遂報警求助。
經查,其中一名涉案內地女子承認聯合他人作案,另一名涉案內地女子則供稱受他人指使提供收款帳戶,並無帶同港元進行兌換,事成後可獲三千元人民幣報酬。
本局根據調查所得,以詐騙(相當巨額)罪將兩人移送檢察院偵辦。
第二宗案件
本局於2023年11月13日接報路氹城區一娛樂場發生一宗兌換詐騙案。案中男事主於當日下午以社交軟件相約“換錢黨”成員進行兌換,其後涉案內地女子到場與事主接洽,在指示事主將236,700元人民幣轉帳至指定銀行帳戶後,再應事主要求將一疊紙鈔交給娛樂場帳房職員兌換成籌碼,結果被揭發該疊紙鈔全為俗稱“練功券”之偽鈔。涉案內地女子隨即被娛樂場保安人員截住並交予本局處理,其後本局人員在其身上搜獲201張式樣為一千港元的紙鈔,當中只有一張為真鈔,其餘均為“練功券”。
涉案內地女子承認受他人招攬來澳與事主進行兌換,事成後可獲三千元人民幣報酬。
本局以詐騙(相當巨額)罪將涉案內地女子移送檢察院偵辦,並續調查及追緝其餘涉案人士。
第三宗案件
2023年11月14日,本局接報氹仔一娛樂場酒店大堂發生一宗兌換詐騙案。案中男事主於當日上午透過社交軟件相約涉案內地男子到氹仔一娛樂場酒店大堂兌換貨幣,事主將284,700元人民幣轉帳至對方指定的內地銀行帳戶後,在點算由對方交付的紙鈔時發現有異,遂着同行女友將紙鈔帶到娛樂場帳房檢驗,證實當中只有一張為真鈔,其餘均為俗稱“練功券”的假鈔,遂立即報警求助。
經查,涉案內地男子承認受他人招攬來澳與事主兌換貨幣,事成後可獲四千元人民幣報酬,並聲稱不知悉相關紙鈔是“練功券”。
本局以詐騙(相當巨額)罪將涉案內地男子移交檢察院偵辦。
Four mainland Chinese arrested for respective involvement in three cases of fraud of considerably huge amount
Case 1
In a case of currency exchange fraud transferred from the Public Security Police Force to the Judiciary Police on 13th November 2023, it was shown that the female victim from mainland China had arranged to meet with a “money exchange gang” member in a hotel room in a Cotai casino for exchange. The two involved mainland Chinese women later arrived at the scene, instructing the victim to successively remit RMB 1.3 million to two different mainland Chinese bank accounts, for which they only exchanged HKD 900,000, with the remaining amount allegedly unpayable. Realizing the scam, the victim reported to the police.
Upon investigation, it was found that one of the involved mainland Chinese women admitted to collusion with others in the perpetration, while the other had allegedly been instigated to provide the beneficiary accounts. She had not brought any Hong Kong Dollars for the exchange. They were to receive a reward of RMB 3,000 for the perpetration.
Based on investigative results, the Judiciary Police transferred the duo to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of fraud (considerably huge amount).
Case 2
The Judiciary Police received a case of currency exchange fraud that took place in a casino in Cotai on 13th November 2023. The male victim had used a social networking app to arrange to meet with a “money exchange gang” member that afternoon for currency exchange. The involved mainland Chinese woman later arrived at the scene to settle the transaction with the victim. Having instructed the victim to remit RMB 236,700 to a designated bank account, she handed a stack of banknotes to the casino cashier staff to exchange them into chips, as requested by the victim. The stack of banknotes was thus exposed to be counterfeit notes commonly known as “practice vouchers”. The involved mainland Chinese woman was promptly intercepted by casino security guards, who handed her to the Judiciary Police. Two hundred and one banknotes styled as 1,000 Hong Kong Dollars, only one of which was authentic while the rest were all “practice vouchers”, were later seized on her.
The involved mainland Chinese woman admitted to have been recruited to come to Macao to engage in currency exchange with the victim for a reward of RMB 3,000.
The Judiciary Police transferred the involved mainland Chinese woman to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of fraud (considerably huge amount), while continuing with the investigation and pursuit of the other involved persons.
Case 3
The Judiciary Police was notified of a case of currency exchange fraud that took place at the lobby of a casino hotel in Taipa on 14th November 2023. The male victim, who had used a social networking app to arrange to meet with the involved mainland Chinese man at the lobby of a casino hotel in Taipa that morning for currency exchange, remitted RMB 284,700 to a designated mainland Chinese bank account. While counting the banknotes handed to him by the other party, the victim noticed an oddity, prompting him to ask his girlfriend to take the banknotes to the casino cashier for inspection. Only one of the banknotes was found to be authentic, while the rest were counterfeit notes commonly known as “practice vouchers”. He reported to the police immediately.
Upon investigation, the involved mainland Chinese man was found to have been recruited to engage in currency exchange with the victim for a reward of RMB 4,000, allegedly unaware of the banknotes being “practice vouchers”.
The involved mainland Chinese man was transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of fraud (considerably huge amount).
Detidos quatro indivíduos da RPC por envolvimento, respectivamente em três burlas de valor consideravelmente elevado
Primeiro caso
Em 13 de Novembro de 2023, a PJ recebeu um caso de burla através da troca de dinheiro encaminhado pelo CPSP. Conforme o apurado, uma mulher da RPC tinha combinado, naquela tarde, um encontro com um burlão da troca de dinheiro, num quatro de hotel de um casino do Cotai, pouco depois, duas mulheres da RPC chegaram ao quarto. Indicaram a mulher para que transferisse 1,3 milhões de renminbis para duas contas bancárias diferentes na China continental, pelos quais, só lhe deram 900.000 HK$, alegando não ter mais naquela altura. A vítima apercebeu-se que era uma burla e fez queixa.
Na investigação, uma das suspeitas confessou que actuou em conluio com outros indivíduos, enquanto a outra alegou que lhe tinha sido indicado por alguém que fornecesse as contas bancárias para a cobrança, nem sequer tinha preparado dólares de Hong Kong para a troca e iria receber 3.000 renminbis após concluída a troca.
Conforme apurado, as detidas foram presentes ao MP acusadas de burla (valor consideravelmente elevado).
Segundo caso
Também em 13 de Novembro de 2023, a PJ foi notificada da ocorrência de uma burla através da troca de dinheiro num casino do Cotai. Naquela tarde, um homem combinou, através de uma rede social, um encontro com um burlão da troca de dinheiro, pouco depois apareceu no local uma mulher da RPC que o atendeu. A mulher, depois de indicar-lhe que transferisse 236.700 renminbis para uma determinada conta bancária, a pedido do homem, entregou um maço de notas a um funcionário da tesouraria do Casino para trocar em fichas, no entanto virificou-se que se tratava de “notas de treino”, ou seja falsas. A suspeita foi imobilizada pelos seguranças do casino e foi entregue à PJ. Na posse da detida foram encontradas 201 notas de 1.000 HK$, das quais só uma era verdadeira, as restantes eram todas “de treino”.
A suspeita admitiu que foi recrutada por alguém em Macau para efectuar troca com a vítima e disse que iria receber 3.000 renminbis após concluída a troca.
A detida foi presente ao MP acusada de burla (valor consideravelmente elevado). A PJ continua a investigar o caso e à procura de eventuais cúmplices.
Terceiro caso
No dia 14 de Novembro de 2023, fomos informados de que ocorreu uma burla através da troca de dinheiro no átrio de um casino do Cotai. Naquela manhã, um homem combinou, através de uma rede social, um encontro com um homem da RPC para trocar dinheiro no átrio de um casino do Cotai. A vítima, após a transferência de 284.700 renminbis para uma conta indicada na China continental, quando contava as notas que o homem lhe entregou, constatou que havia algo de anómalo e levou-as, acompanhado por uma amiga, à tesouraria do casino para exame e verificou que só tinha uma nota verdadeira, as restantes eram todas “notas de treino” e fez queixa.
Na investigação, o homem da RPC admitiu ter sido recrutado por terceiros e disse que iria receber 4.000 renminbis após concluída a troca, alegou também que não sabia que aquelas notas eram “notas de treino”.
O detido foi presente ao MP por burla (valor consideravelmente elevado).
