兩名男子涉相當巨額詐騙就逮
2023年8月6日,本局接獲一名內地男子報稱被三名男子藉詞合資賭博詐騙75萬港元。
案情顯示,男事主與其中一名涉案男子相識,案發當日男事主在本澳一娛樂場賭博,期間上述涉案男子帶同同伙與男事主見面,訛稱認識精通賭術人士代為投注,並提出合資賭博來誘騙男事主出資90萬港元,加上涉案人等出資相同款項的籌碼一起下注;當賭本剩下165萬港元籌碼時,其中一名涉案男子藉詞離開,將當中160萬港元籌碼交予同黨帶離娛樂場,隨即折返場內訛稱已將上述款項輸掉,並將五萬港元籌碼交回男事主後離開。之後,男事主懷疑被騙,遂透過娛樂場保安員報警求助。事件中,男事主被騙去75萬港元。
本局博彩罪案調查處人員經深入調查,於8月10日截獲其中兩名涉案男子,在其中一人住所搜獲1.5萬港元懷疑贓款,並根據調查所得,以詐騙(相當巨額)罪將之移送檢察院偵辦,同時追查其他涉案人及贓款下落。
Two men arrested for fraud of considerably huge amount
On 6th August 2023, the Judiciary Police received a report from a mainland man, claiming that he had been defrauded of HKD750,000 by three men on the pretext of pooling money for gambling.
Case details revealed that the male victim was acquainted with one of the involved men. On the day of the incident, the male victim was gambling in a casino in Macao, during which the above-mentioned involved man brought his accomplices along to meet with the male victim, falsely claiming that he knew someone who was proficient in gambling tactics to place bets on his behalf, and suggested pooling money for gambling to entice the male victim to chip in HKD900,000, along with the chips of the same amount contributed by the involved individuals, to place bets together. When there were HKD1.65 million chips left in the pool money, one of the involved men excused himself and left, subsequently handed over HKD1.6 million chips of the pool money to his accomplice to take them out of the casino, then immediately returned to the casino and falsely claimed that he had already gambled away the aforesaid money, handing over HKD50,000 chips to the male victim before leaving the scene. Afterwards, the male victim suspected of being defrauded, therefore reported to the police for assistance through the casino’s security guards. The male victim was defrauded of HKD750,000 in the incident.
Subsequent to in-depth investigation, the Gaming-related Crimes Division personnel of the Judiciary Police intercepted two of the involved men on August 10th, with seizure of suspected criminal proceeds of HKD15,000 in the residence of one of them, and transferred them to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of fraud (considerably huge amount) based on the investigative results, while pursuing the whereabouts of the other involved individuals and proceeds of crime.

Em 6 de Agosto de 2023, recebemos a queixa de um homem da RPC que dizia que tinha sido burlado em 750.000 HK$, por três homens com pretexto de juntar capitais para jogar.
Conforme descrito, o queixoso conhecia um dos homens envolvidos. No dia da ocorrência, a vítima estava a jogar num casino de Macau, nesta altura, o homem trouxe um cúmplice para se encontrar com a vítima, alegou que conhecia alguém com proficiência em jogar para que fizessem apostas em seu nome e sugeriu juntar capitais para jogar, desta forma convenceu a vítima a juntar 900.000 HK$, por outro lado, os homens envolvidos também fizeram apostas com igual montante, mas quando sobraram 1.650.000 HK$ em fichas de jogo, um dos homens utilizou um pretexto para sair e entregou 1.600.000 HK$ daquelas fichas ao cúmplice que saiu do casino. Este homem voltou ao casino alegando que tinha perdido todo aquele dinheiro nas mesas de jogo e antes de sair, devolveu 50.000 HK$ em fichas à vítima. Posteriormente, a vítima apercebeu-se que tinha sido burlada e chamou a polícia através dos seguranças do casino. Neste caso, a vítima acabou por ser burlada em 750.000 HK$.
No dia 10 de Agosto, o nosso pessoal da Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Relacionados com o Jogo deteve dois dos suspeitos, foram encontrados, na residência de um deles, 15.000 HK$, dinheiro supostamente proveniente do crime. Conforme apurado, os detidos foram presentes ao MP acusados de burla (valor consideravelmente elevado), por outro lado, continua à procura de outros eventuais cúmplices e do dinheiro da burla.
