兩名內地男子涉兌換貨幣詐騙被拘
2023年7月29日,本局接獲路氹城區一娛樂場保安部通報,指娛樂場帳房對一名內地女子交來的520張港元鈔票進行檢驗時,發現全為俗稱“練功券”的偽鈔,並將同行的兩名涉案內地男子轉交本局跟進處理。
本局博彩罪案調查處人員深入調查,發現女事主聯絡上述其中一名涉案男子兌換貨幣,兩人相約在路氹城區一酒店房間進行交易,其後另一名涉案男子攜帶現金前來,女事主先向首名涉案男子轉帳37.4萬元人民幣,再接過次名涉案男子交來四疊共520張港元鈔票,並要求一同到娛樂場帳房進行驗鈔;帳房職員發現上述港元鈔票全為俗稱“練功券”的偽鈔,立即通知保安員向本局舉報。
本局人員到場後,在其中一名涉案男子的背包搜獲780張“練功券”偽鈔,並根據調查所得以詐騙(相當巨額)罪將兩名涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦。
Two mainland Chinese men arrested for currency exchange fraud
The security department of a casino in Cotai reported to the Judiciary Police on 29th July 2023 that while examining 520 Hong Kong Dollar banknotes handed from a mainland Chinese woman, the casino cashier found that the banknotes were all forged ones commonly known as “practice vouchers”. Two involved mainland Chinese men that were accompanying her were transferred to the Judiciary Police for follow-up investigation.
Upon in-depth investigation, the Gaming-related Crimes Division officers of the Judiciary Police found that the female victim had contacted one of the said involved men for currency exchange. They had arranged to meet in a hotel room in Cotai for the transaction. When the other involved man brought the cash to the room afterwards, the female victim remitted RMB 374,000 to the first involved man, before collecting 520 Hong Kong Dollar banknotes in four stacks from the second involved man. She demanded the men to accompany her to the casino cashier to inspect the banknotes. When the cashier staff discovered that all the banknotes were counterfeits known as “practice vouchers”, they promptly notified the security guards to report to the Judiciary Police.
Arriving at the scene, the Judiciary police officers seized 780 “practice vouchers” counterfeits in one of the involved men’s backpack. Based on investigative results, the two involved men were transferred to the Public Prosecutions Office for the charge of fraud (considerably huge amount).

Em 29 de Julho de 2023, foi comunicado à PJ, pelo departamento de segurança de um casino situado no Cotai, que ao verificar 520 notas de HKD entregues por uma mulher da China continental, a tesouraria do casino descobriu que eram todas notas falsas, daquelas conhecidas vulgarmente por “notas para treino”, foram também transferidos para a PJ dois homens do continente que acompanhavam a mulher.
Na investigação aprofundada, o pessoal da Divisão de Investigação de Crimes Relacionados com o Jogo apurou que a mulher tinha contactado um dos homens para trocar dinheiro, combinando para efectuar a transaccão num quarto de hotel do Cotai, mais tarde o outro envolvido chegou trazendo o dinheiro em numerário. A mulher transferiu 374.000 RMB para o primeiro envolvido, recebeu depois 4 maços de notas de HKD, 520 notas no total, pedindo-lhes para ir juntos à tesouraria para verificar as notas na tesouraria do casino. O funcionário da tesouraria descobriu que todas aquelas notas de HKD eram falsas, daquelas vulgarmente conhecidas por “notas para treino”, assim notificou de imediato a segurança para fazer a denúncia à PJ.
Ao chegar o local , o nosso pessoal apreendeu 780 “notas para treino” na mochila de um dos envolvidos, os dois foram presentes ao Ministério Público por burla (valor consideravelmente elevado), conforme os resultados obtidos na investigação.
