港澳警方“翊星行動2.0"破兩電腦詐騙集團 共拘16名集團成員
2021年,本局聯同香港警方展開代號“翊星行動2.0"專項行動,以打擊網上盜用信用卡資料犯罪,自4月下旬至5月初分別在港澳共拘捕16名分屬兩個網上詐騙犯罪集團的成員。
2021年4月21日,本局拘捕五男一女本澳居民,他們涉嫌透過手機App Store平台將盜得之信用卡資料以刷卡方式為網上手機遊戲進行充值;五名涉案男子均承認受一犯罪集團招攬犯案,每筆交易可獲取約30元人民幣報酬,涉及五張本澳銀行信用卡資料,金額約5.3萬澳門元。本局以電腦詐騙(巨額)罪將上述六人移送檢察院處理,並追查涉案信用卡資料被盜源頭及其他涉案人。
2021年4月下旬,香港警方亦拘捕三男六女香港居民,他們同樣透過手機App Store平台將盜用之信用卡資料以刷卡方式進行消費或網上購物,涉案金額約9.5萬港元。
此外,2021年2月至3月期間,本局接獲多宗舉報,多名事主稱其信用卡資料被盜用進行網上購物,涉及25張信用卡,總金額約15萬澳門元,經調查確定涉案網上詐騙犯罪集團及犯罪集團成員身份。
2021年5月3日,本局傳召該犯罪集團其中一名本澳男成員接受調查,發現該集團盜取他人信用卡資料及用以網購超過400件歐洲名牌服裝,透過速遞公司將貨品運到涉案男子租用單位,涉案男子安排親屬收貨後轉交“水客"運往內地出售圖利,涉案金額約600萬澳門元,涉案男子從中獲利超過45萬澳門元。
本局以電腦詐騙(相當巨額)及贓物罪將該名涉案男子移送檢察院偵辦,並追查信用卡資料被盜源頭及有關贓物去向。
Two computer fraud syndicates busted in Hong Kong-Macao police “Operation Soaring Star 2.0”, with a total of 16 syndicate members arrested
In 2021, the Judiciary Police had launched a special operation code-named “Operation Soaring Star 2.0” jointly with the Hong Kong police to combat crimes of online misappropriation of credit card information. From late April to early May, a total of 16 members belonging to two respective online fraud criminal syndicates were arrested in Hong Kong and Macao respectively.
On 21st April 2021, five male and one female residents of Macao were arrested by the Judiciary Police. They were suspected of using misappropriated credit card information to top up online mobile games by means of card-swiping through the mobile App Store platform; The five involved men all admitted being employed by a criminal syndicate to commit the crimes in return for around RMB30 for each transaction, involving information of five local bank credit cards and an amount of approximately MOP53,000. The Judiciary Police transferred the abovementioned six individuals to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offence of computer fraud (massive amount), while pursuing the origin of the misappropriated credit card information involved in the case and other involved individuals.
In late April 2021, the Hong Kong police arrested three male and six female residents of Hong Kong, who had also used misappropriated credit card information to carry out consumption or online purchases by means of card-swiping through the mobile App Store platform, involving an amount of around HKD95,000.
In addition, between February and March 2021, the Judiciary Police received a number of complaints from several victims who alleged that their credit card information had been misappropriated for online purchases, involving 25 credit cards with a total amount of approximately MOP150,000. Subsequent to investigation, the involved online fraud criminal syndicate and the identity of members of the criminal syndicate were confirmed.
On 3rd May 2021, the Judiciary Police summoned a male local member of the criminal syndicate for investigation, and found that the syndicate had misappropriated credit card information of others to make online purchases of more than 400 pieces of European designer clothing. The merchandise were delivered to the rented unit of the involved man via a courier company, and the involved man had arranged his relatives to receive the merchandise before handing them over to the “parallel traders” for transportation to the mainland to be sold for a profit. The involved amount was approximately MOP6 million, from which the involved man had profited more than MOP450,000.
The Judiciary Police transferred the involved man to the Public Prosecutions Office for the offences of computer fraud (considerably huge amount) and handling stolen goods, while pursuing the origin of the misappropriated credit card information and whereabouts of the related stolen goods.
Polícias de Hong Kong e Macau desmantelaram duas redes de burla informática na “Operation Soaring Star 2.0” e detiveram 16 indivíduos
Em colaboração com a polícia de Hong Kong, a PJ desencadeou em 2021 a “Operation Soaring Star 2.0” para o combate ao furto de dados de cartões de crédito na internet, tendo sido detidos, entre finais de Abril e início de Maio, 16 elementos respectivamente pertencentes a dois grupos criminosos online nas RAE de Hong Kong e de Macau.
No dia 21 de Abril de 2021, a PJ fez a detenção de 5 homens e 1 mulher locais suspeitos de fazer recargas para jogos de telemóvel com informações de cartões de crédito furtadas através da plataforma App Store. Os 5 homens confessaram ter sido angariados por um grupo criminoso e de receberem 30 RMB como remuneração em cada transacção, que envolvia 5 cartões de crédito emitidos por bancos de Macau e num valor aproximadamente de 53.000 patacas. Os 6 detidos foram presentes ao Ministério Públicos acusados de burla informática (de valor elevado), a PJ vai continuar a investigar a origem dos dados dos cartões de crédito e procurar eventuais envolvidos.
Em finais de Abril de 2021, a polícia de Hong Kong procedeu à detenção de 3 homens e 6 mulheres residentes que aproveitavam também a plataforma App Store para fazer consumo ou fazer compras online com dados de cartões de crédito furtados num montante envolvido de cerca de 95.000 HKD.
Além disso, recebemos várias queixas entre Fevereiro e Março de 2021, nas quais as vítimas declararam que as informações dos seus cartões de crédito foram utilizadas para fazer compras online que envolviam 25 cartões num valor de cerca de 150.000 patacas. Após averiguações, conseguiu-se identificar o grupo criminoso online em causa e também os seus elementos.
No dia 3 de Maio de 2021, foi convocado um dos indivíduos desse grupo, do sexo masculino e residente local, para ser investigado. Verificou-se que o grupo estaria a furtar informações de cartões de outrem para fazer compras na rede de mais de 400 peças de vestuário de famosas marcas europeias, as mercadorias compradas eram enviadas, através de empresas de correio rápido, ao apartamento alugado pelo homem supramencionado. Este arranjou seus familiares para o recebimento das mercadorias e depois entregava-as a “comerciantes paralelos” para as transportarem e venderem no continente num valor envolvido de cerca de seis milhões de patacas, conseguindo assim lucros por mais de 450.000 patacas.
O homem foi presente ao Ministério Público por burla informática (de valor consideravelmente elevado) e por receptação. A PJ vai continuar a investigação da origem das informações dos cartões furtadas e do paradeiro das mercadorias.
