      The Judiciary Police's Case Reporting and Emergency Operation Centre operates on a 24-hour system. The Case Reporting and Emergency Operation Centre's investigators will be on duty throughout the night. If required, the general public can press the door bell to make a police report or request for assistance at any time.

Crime Prevention Team for Residential Buildings

      Established in January 2010 by the Judiciary Police, the Crime Prevention Team for Residential Buildings aims to promptly identify crime trends of residential buildings, as well as to collect intelligence for the management to devise effective strategies for the prevention and tackling of crime. This unit is also charged with the duty to promote community policing through stronger communication between security personnel and residents to uphold the safety of neighbourhoods.
       The Team evolved from a part-time to a full-time crime prevention unit and is now a standing unit of the Community Policing and Public Relations Division.Commanded by Deputy Director Mr. Chau Wai Kuong, it is made up of 18 investigators from various investigative units, with three of them overseeing the Team’s daily operation on a full-time basis. Operations include regular patrols of residential and commercial buildings which allow the Team to gather information related to the security of local neighbourhoods for policing purpose.

Reception and Complaints Centre

      Ranking as a department within the framework of the Judiciary Police, the Reception and Complaints Centre is under direct supervision of the Directorate. All suggestions and complaints made by the public are submitted directly to the Director. This body holds the sole authority to make assessments of such suggestions and complaints. This practice was adopted to keep in absolute confidentiality the information and complaints that the directors handle, and allows it to take swift measures to discipline our staff members who are in breach of the laws.

The Police-Community Relations Research Group

      The Police-Community Relations Research Group is a unit under the Community Policing and Public Relations Division, and directly held accountable to the director. Committed to facilitate police-community interactions, this research unit aims to boost the rule of law among the public and improve enforcement efficiency. The group seeks to pool extensive information on community policing and give problem assessment. In return, it provides basic legal consultation and promotes legal awareness in the public. On top of these, the group also furnishes the directorate decision references with timely reports and recommendations aimed at meliorating community-police relations. Endeavored to induce positive interactions, this research group, in line with law, strives to bring the best out in community engagement for better delivery of police services, and to solidify the belief of social order and community governance.

The Youth Concern Group

       Established in February 2000, the Youth Concern Group’s duties are : to study the characteristics of juvenile delinquency in Macao, and work out adequate responses; to communicate and work together with the youth community through their schools and associations, and coach them to be law abiding citizens and to show them the right concept of life; and to ensure that they distance themselves from criminal activities. The differences between the good and the evil are also taught.

Administrative Centre

      The Administrative Centre is subordinate to the Human resourses and Administration Division. It is responsible for the handling of administrative documents, including the application of Case Reporting Certificate.
      Complainants and parties of interest who need to apply for a Case Reporting Certificate may apply to the Administrative Centre of the Judiciary Police during office hour. If the complainant is not a Macao resident and is leaving Macao soon, he/she may also apply to the Case Reporting and Emergency Operation Centre, for a Case Reporting Certificate signed by the Judiciary Police directorate.
