　Hierarchically subordinated to the Macau Secretary for Security, the Judiciary Police is a law enforcement agency empowered to prevent and investigate crimes, and to render assistance to the judicial authorities.

　This homepage consists of a brief history of the Judiciary Police, a highlight of its authority and structure, and information on how to contact the Judiciary Police. It also provides several links with its regional counterparts and those from other countries.

　Hopefully, this homepage would function as a new communication network, capable of linking us with the local community, as well as the rest of the world, to enhance the transparency of Macao Judiciary Police. Furthermore, we intend to use this new facility as a tool for making assessments and conjectural studies on areas related to law enforcement, thus ensuring that our formal duties are duly accomplished.
