Youth Concern Group

    The Youth Concern Group is a unit devoted to study strategies to prevent misconduct and criminal activities amongst adolescents and teenagers. The Group carries out studies to identify the characteristics and trends of juvenile delinquency in Macao, and implements necessary measures to curb the rate of incidents. To prevent juvenile delinquency and to assist them to grow up in a healthy environment, the Youth Concern Group maintains communication and cooperation with schools, youth organizations and government departments. It also develops law publicity campaigns such as symposiums and seminars to help youngsters establish a decent and law-abiding view of life, distinguish right from wrong and stay away from crimes.
