The Sub-Bureau of the Chinese National Central Bureau of Interpol, hereinafter designated as Interpol Sub-Bureau in an abbreviation form, shall be accountable in securing the interaction of criminal police institutions and authorities and the rest of MSAR's public services with other Interpol bureaus, as well as the International Criminal Police Organisation General-Secretariat. Its main task is to enhance the cooperation with such bodies by promoting the exchange of information related to international criminals, arrest and cause the arrest of wanted fugitives and provide for their surrender to the requesting authorities, and submit suggestions for the implementation of preventative and repressive measures on international criminal activities.
