Macao Sub-Bureau, INTERPOL National Central Bureau, China

    The Macao Sub-Bureau of the China National Central Bureau of INTERPOL (hereinafter abbreviated as INTERPOL Sub-Bureau) is accountable for connecting criminal police institutions, authorities and other public services of the Macao SAR with various INTERPOL Bureaus and the INTERPOL General Secretariat. The INTERPOL Sub-Bureau maintains close cooperation with the above entities for exchange of intelligence, transfer process, detention and assistance in detention, as well as communication. It also provides suggestions for preventing and suppressing crimes on international level.
    The INTERPOL Sub-Bureau also receives, categorizes, handles, issues and files documents related to international crime, and coordinates the translation of documents or messages related to INTERPOL.
