When you are out
 
  1. Use the pavement.
  2. Take good care of your belongings.
  3. Avoid deserted areas.
 
When using the cash dispenser
 
  1. Don't be distracted.
  2. Beware of strangers talking to you.
  3. Be mindful of people around you.
   
When driving
 
  1. Keep your valuables out of sight.
  2. Lock the doors.
  3. Keep the windows only slightly open.
   
When going out at night
 
  1. Call the police or ask for help if you think you are being followed.
  2. Have a companion with you.
  3. Ask someone you know to walk you home.
   
In a shop
 
  1. For shop owners: Install CCTV cameras.
  2. For shop assistants: Keep your belongings locked.
  3. For shoppers: Watch out for pickpockets.
